Lakeside Village is an open-air shopping mall located on the southern side of Lakeland, Florida, in the United States. Located off the Polk Parkway at Harden Boulevard, it is classified as a "regional mall" by the International Council of Shopping Centers, [1] and it draws shoppers from much of the Lakeland metropolitan area.
It is also a mixed-use complex, with office space available and three hotels on site.
Since opening, the shopping center has caused businesses off of Florida Avenue to either close or relocate due to competition. [2]

The Tampa Bay Center was a shopping mall located in Tampa, Florida, across the street from Tampa Stadium. The mall was developed by The Rouse Company. When it opened on August 5, 1976 the 877,000-square-foot (81,500 m2) Tampa Bay Center was Tampa's fourth major mall and operated until 2001, when most of its tenants relocated to the nearby International Plaza.
