Lamar Wilkerson is a college basketball player for the Indiana Hoosiers of the Big Ten Conference. He previously played for the Sam Houston Bearkats and Three Rivers College.
Wilkerson attended Ashdown High School in Ashdown, Arkansas. Coming out of high school, he committed to play college basketball at Three Rivers College. [1]
As a freshman during the 2021-22 season, he averaged 16.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, where after the conclusion of the season, Wilkerson entered the NCAA transfer portal. [2]
Wilkerson transferred to play for the Sam Houston Bearkats. [3] During the 2022-23 season, he averaged 7.4 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. In the 2023-24 season, Wilkerson averaged 13.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game. [4] On December 3, 2024, Wilkerson scored 18 points in a loss to Indiana. [8] On December 9, he totaled a career-high 44 points and ten made threes which set a Hoosier record for threes in a game, while also adding four rebounds, four assists, and three steals in a win over Penn State.
