Lancheras de Cataño Voleibol Club is the professional female volleyball team of Cataño, Puerto Rico. [1]
The team was founded in 2008 and played as Caribes de San Sebastián in the 2009 season, [2] then moved to Cataño and renamed Lancheras de Cataño. [3] [4]
In the 2012 season, the team won the League Championship with the American setter Courtney Thompson being awarded as final series Most Valuable Person. The team qualified for 2012 FIVB Club World Championship which was celebrated in Doha, Qatar and finished fourth of six teams. [5]

Guaynabo is a city, suburb of San Juan and municipality in the northern part of Puerto Rico, located in the northern coast of the island, north of Aguas Buenas, south of Cataño, east of Bayamón, and west of San Juan. Guaynabo is spread over 9 barrios and Guaynabo Pueblo. Annerys Victoria Vargas Valdez is a retired female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic who won four consecutive gold medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games.
Milagros Cabral De La Cruz is a retired female volleyball player from the Dominican Republic who won the 1998 silver and three consecutive gold medals in 2002, 2006 and 2010 at the Central American and Caribbean Games.

Debora Seilhamer is a volleyball player from Ponce, Puerto Rico. Seilhamer made her debut with the Puerto Rico women's national volleyball team at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She was named Best Digger at the 2007 NORCECA Championship, where her team ended up in fifth place. Seilhamer played as a libero for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan. There the team ended up in eighth and last place, having received a wild card for the event after Peru and Kenya withdrew. At the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games, Seilhamer was named Best Digger, Best Libero and MVP of the Tournament. Puerto Rico lost to the Dominican Republic in the gold medal game.
Bethania de la Cruz de Peña is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, currently playing for the Omaha Supernovas of the Pro Volleyball Federation. She is best known for winning the gold medal with the Dominican women's national team at the 2009 NORCECA Championship and the 2010 Pan-American Cup.
Sidarka de los Milagros Núñez is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who played for the Women's National Team at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. There her team ended up in fifth place. She claimed the gold medal at the 2008 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup in Mexico, where she was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

She was a member of the Dominican Republic national team that won fifth place in the 2012 Summer Olympics, while she was named the tournament's Best Libero. She played in the 2014 World Championship reaching also the fifth place and ranking 17th in the 2010 World Championship and the 2011 FIVB World Cup where her national team ranked eight and the 2015 FIVB World Cup, winning the Best Libero individual award and ranking in seventh place.
