It opened in 1925 and was named in honour of the then Governor General of Canada, Julian Byng, 1st Viscount Byng of Vimy. Magee Secondary School is a public secondary school on West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the first public high schools located in the Kerrisdale neighbourhood and is fed by the surrounding elementary schools in its catchment area. They include Maple Grove Elementary School, Dr. R. E. McKechnie Elementary School, and David Lloyd George Elementary School. It was used as a temporary hospital during the Influenza Epidemic in 1918.

During the 2020-2021 schoolyear, the administration changed the schedule layout to a quarterly system as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic in British Columbia. In September 2023, R.E. Mountain replaced Killarney Secondary School as the largest high school in British Columbia by enrollment.

Stelly's offers a wide range of academic classes and programs, as well as athletics programs and extra curricular clubs. The school opened in 1969 as Don Head Secondary School and was renamed Alexander Mackenzie High School in 1992, in honour of Major Addison Alexander Mackenzie, a Richmond Hill resident and philanthropist.
Langley Fine Arts School is a public elementary school and secondary school in Fort Langley, British Columbia, Canada, and is part of School District 35 Langley. It serves the Fort Langley area and its arts program attracts many students from across and outside the district. Students must audition or submit a portfolio to be accepted into a senior major. The LFAS major program focuses mainly on four aspects of art: Dance, Drama, Visual Art, and Music. In addition to the four majors, students have the option to switch to photography in the ninth grade or switch to writing in the eleventh grade.

The school contains 60 rooms for rent, over 200 classrooms, 2 gymnasiums, a fitness center, a multi-media library resource center, and specialized areas for music, drama, art, cooking, woodworking and shop. It is also home to one of the largest French immersion High School programs in Canada. There are currently 1671 children enrolled.

It is named after James Charles McGuigan, a Canadian Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and the Archbishop of Toronto from 1934 to 1971. The school was founded by the order of the Franciscan Fathers, who recognized the need for a Catholic School in the Keele-Finch Community. It serves the Downsview neighbourhood of North York.
