Lasaki [laˈsaki] (German : Lassoky) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Rudnik, within Racibórz County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. [1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Rudnik, 12 km (7 mi) north of Racibórz, and 54 km (34 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice. Hamlet had a German name Lassoky [1], in the years 1936 - 1945 Weidenmoor [1] .

Gmina Rudnik is a rural gmina in Racibórz County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland. Its seat is the village of Rudnik, which lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) north-west of Racibórz and 60 km (37 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice.
Name of the village probably comes from the word Lasok, which meant the workers of the forest.
