Salvador Roman Hidalgo Laurel, also known as Doy Laurel, was a Filipino lawyer and politician who served as the vice president of the Philippines from 1986 to 1992 under President Corazon Aquino and briefly served as the last prime minister from February 25 to March 25, 1986, when the position was abolished. He was a major leader of the United Nationalist Democratic Organization (UNIDO), the political party that helped topple the regime of President Ferdinand Marcos with the 1986 People Power Revolution.

Click is a Philippine television drama series broadcast by GMA Network. Directed by Mac Alejandre, it stars Richard Gutierrez, Alessandra de Rossi, Angel Locsin, Jake Cuenca, Karen delos Reyes, JC de Vera, Iya Villania and Chynna Ortaleza. It premiered on December 4, 1999 replacing T.G.I.S. The series concluded on July 24, 2004 with a total of 248 episodes.

Denise María Sanz Laurel, better known as Denise Laurel, is a Filipino actress and singer. She is half-Spanish and half-Filipino. She is a granddaughter of former vice president Salvador Laurel and great-granddaughter of former president José P. Laurel on her father's side, while on her mother's side, she is the great-granddaughter of Don Francisco "Paco" Sanz, former governor of Romblon and Palawan and the great-grandniece of former president Manuel Roxas. She is best known for playing roles in various ABS-CBN dramas, such as the Precious Hearts Romances series' Midnight Phantom and Kristine, Dahil sa Pag-ibig, Annaliza and most recently Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita. She was also the grand winner of the second season of the Philippine edition of Your Face Sounds Familiar. Laurel is a member of Star Magic and is a former GMA Network artist.

Casimero Bustamante "Roy" Padilla Sr. was a Filipino politician who served as governor of the province of Camarines Norte from 1986 until his death in 1988 as a member of Corazon Aquino's UNIDO ticket. He was succeeded by his son, Roy Padilla Jr. He briefly went on to use the name "Carlos Roy Padilla" on his earlier brief stint as an actor and director.

<i>R2K</i> 1999 studio album by Regine Velasquez

R2K is the tenth studio album by Filipino singer-actress Regine Velasquez, released on November 24, 1999, by Viva Records in the Philippines in CD and cassette format and later as a digital download. The album is Velasquez's second from Viva Music Corporation after Drawn. It consists of various covers of hits from the 1980s such as Jeffrey Osborne's "On the Wings of Love" to the 1990s such as Aerosmith's "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing". The album was produced by Velasquez and sold more than 40,000 copies in its second week of release, earning a platinum certification, and was certified four times platinum a year later. R2K has since been certified twelve times platinum, becoming the highest-selling album by a female artist in the Philippines.

<i>!Oka Tokat</i> Philippine supernatural horror drama television series

!Oka Tokat is a Philippine supernatural horror drama television series which originally aired on ABS-CBN from June 24, 1997 to May 7, 2002 every Tuesday night, replacing Abangan ang Susunod Na Kabanata. It starred Agot Isidro alongside with Ricky Davao, Carmina Villaroel, Alessandra De Rossi, Rica Peralejo, Diether Ocampo, Jericho Rosales, Angelika Dela Cruz, Marc Solis, Bojo Molina, Paolo Contis and later, Emman Abeleda, Shaina Magdayao, Alwyn Uytingco, Joy Chiong, and Jiro Manio on its reformat of the series. Its title is the reverse spelling of the phrase "Takot ako!" ; hence, the exclamation point at the beginning. Later on December 4, 2001, !Oka Tokat was reformatted as a comedy horror adventure series.

The Eastwood City Walk of Fame or the Walk of Fame Philippines is a walk of fame patterned after the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and is located in Eastwood City, Quezon City. It was founded on December 1, 2005. As German Moreno's home network, GMA Network is the official media partner of Walk of Fame since 2005 that were supported by GMA Network's bosses Atty. Felipe L. Gozon and Mr. Duavit Jimenez Jr.

Crispin "Pen" Parungao Medina Sr. is an actor from the Philippines who started acting in theater plays in his youth. He eventually played versatile roles on the big screen and in various television shows. He became well-known after getting the role of the villainous Hagorn in the 2005 fantasy television series Encantadia. He has won the Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Award during the 33rd PMPC Star Awards for Movies, the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 62nd FAMAS Awards, and the Best Actor Award at the 6th Cinema One Originals Film Festival.

Pilar Delilah Veloso Pilapil-Penas, popularly known as Pilar Pilapil, is a Filipino actress and beauty pageant titleholder. She was crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Universe 1967. She represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 1967 pageant but was unplaced.

José Rizalinode León Torre, professionally known as JoelTorre, is a Filipino actor and producer who is best known for his numerous films such as the biographical film José Rizal (1998), crime thriller film On the Job (2013) and the historical drama Amigo (2010), with the latter winning him the Best Actor Award at the 17th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival.
