Law Hospital was a health facility in Law, South Lanarkshire. It was managed by NHS Lanarkshire.
The facility was designed by Cullen, Lochhead and Brown as one of seven Emergency Hospital Service facilities and opened in 1939. [1] It accommodated evacuees from the Central Middlesex Hospital as well as some injured German Prisoners of War during the Second World War. [1] It joined the National Health Service in 1948. After patients had been transferred to the Wishaw Hospital, it closed in 2001. [1] Concerns were raised when medical files were found in the derelict hospital in 2008. [2]

The State Hospital is a psychiatric hospital near the village of Carstairs Junction, in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. It provides care and treatment in conditions of high security for around 140 patients from Scotland and Northern Ireland. St. Brendan's Hospital was a psychiatric facility located in the north Dublin suburb of Grangegorman. It formed part of the mental health services of Dublin North East with its catchment area being North West Dublin. It is now the site of a modern mental health facility known as the "Phoenix Care Centre". Since the official opening of the Richmond Lunatic Asylum in 1815 the Grangegorman site has continuously provided institutional facilities for the reception of the mentally ill until the present day. As such the Phoenix Care Centre represents the continuation of the oldest public psychiatric facility in Ireland.

Stoneyetts Hospital was a psychiatric hospital located in Moodiesburn, near Glasgow. Opened in 1913, Stoneyetts served as an important source of employment for residents within the expanding Moodiesburn area. The function of the institution changed throughout its existence: it originally cared for those with epilepsy, before housing people with intellectual disability, and from 1937 treating those with mental disorders. By the early 1970s there was an emphasis toward psychogeriatric care at the hospital.
