Law Point is a 2014 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film written by Devadas and directed by Lijin Jose. [1] It stars Kunchacko Boban as an advocate and Namitha Pramod as a modern, city bred girl. [2]

Plot

Sathya Mohan is a leading criminal advocate after he successfully wins a rape case against the victim Sainnaba. He is now consulted to handle a compromising situation regarding the suicide attempt of Maya. Dealing with her father, Sathya came to the conclusion that Maya is very bold and intelligent and it is not very easy to convince her and her father. He keeps calm and requests her father to take her for a long drive with him. Sathya tells Maya all sorts of lies about his past and it is then revealed at the end, the whole play was well planned, fooling Sathya.

<i>Niram</i> 1999 Indian film

Niram is a 1999 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film directed by Kamal and written inspired by Sathrughnan, a story by Iqbal Kuttippuram. Niram marks the fourth and final collaboration of the leading pair, Kunchacko and Shalini of the late 90s. It was also Shalini's last Malayalam film, before retiring from the industry. The film revolves around the relationship of two teenagers - Aby and Sona (Shalini), who are best friends since childhood and they often hangout together. The film's music was composed by Vidyasagar. Niram was a blockbuster at the box office, becoming one of the highest-grossing Malayalam films of the year, grossing over 5 crore. The film was remade in Telugu as Nuvve Kavali (2000), Tamil as Piriyadha Varam Vendum (2001) with Director Kamal, and actresses Shalini, Jomol and Kovai Sarala reprising their roles, in Kannada as Ninagagi (2002), and in Hindi as Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003). The film was rereleased on 16 September 1999.

Kilukkam Kilukilukkam is a 2006 Indian Malayalam-language romantic comedy film directed by Sandhya Mohan and written by Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas. It is a sequel to the 1991 film Kilukkam. Traffic is a 2011 Indian Malayalam-language road action thriller film written by brothers Bobby and Sanjay and directed by Rajesh Pillai. The film features an ensemble cast consisting of Sreenivasan, Kunchacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Rahman, Anoop Menon, Sandhya, Roma, Remya Nambeesan, Namitha Pramod, Lena, Jose Prakash and Krishna. The film has its narrative in a hyperlink format. The film opened on 7 January 2011, to a positive reception. A multi-narrative thriller that intertwines multiple stories around one particular incident, Traffic is inspired from an actual event that happened in Chennai. Owing to its critical and commercial success, Traffic was remade into Tamil as Chennaiyil Oru Naal, in Kannada as Crazy Star and is also remade in Hindi, with the same name. This was also the last film of the veteran actor Jose Prakash. The film has a cult status.

The film stars Jayaram, Sheela, Siddique and Suraj Venjarammoodu in the lead roles, with Prithviraj and Kunchacko Boban appearing in guest roles. Vidyasagar composed the music, with lyrics penned by Kaithapram. The tumultuous life of a couple, after the wife becomes a heroine just by chance and the husband is forced to disguise himself as her makeup man, is being told here. The core plot of the movie was loosely based on the 2001 French movie My Wife Is an Actress.

Lijin Jose is a Malayalam film director with two feature films and one documentary to his credit. His debut movie was Friday starring Fahad Fazil. He is also the founder of Every Dog has its Day Productions (EDHID) and Make My Theatre. He studied filmmaking from C-DIT. His diploma project film, Night Is Difficult to Cut won the best student film award by UGC-CEC. He worked as a paneled director at C-DIT where he made many documentaries, ad films and public awareness films.
