Kano is a city in northern Nigeria and the capital of Kano State. The 2023 Kano State gubernatorial election will take place in early 2023,to elect the Governor of Kano State. Incumbent APC Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is term-limited and cannot seek re-election to a third term. The primaries will be scheduled for late 2022 or early 2023.
