Lawrence Leneir Dawsey (born November 16, 1967) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons. Dawsey played college football for the Florida State Seminoles, and was recognized as an All-American. He was chosen by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the third round of the 1991 NFL draft, [1] [2] and won the UPI NFL-NFC Rookie of the Year award in 1991.
Christopher Jon Weinke is an American football coach and former football and baseball player. After spending six years in the Toronto Blue Jays minor league baseball system, he enrolled at Florida State University at the age of 25, and played college football as a quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles. He thereafter played in the National Football League (NFL), where he spent most of his career with the Carolina Panthers.

He was selected in the first round of the 1993 NFL draft by the New York Jets and he played his entire professional career for the Jets. In 2018, Jones was the head coach for the Cedar Rapids Titans in the Indoor Football League (IFL) and served as head coach of the Omaha Beef in the Champions Indoor Football (CIF) from 2020-2022. Beginning in 2023, Jones will be the head coach of the IFL's Tulsa Oilers.
The Florida State Seminoles football team represents Florida State University in the sport of American football. The Seminoles compete in the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The team is currently coached by Mike Norvell, and plays home games at Doak Campbell Stadium, the 15th largest stadium in college football, located on-campus in Tallahassee, Florida. The Seminoles previously competed as part of the ACC Atlantic Division.

He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles in the late-1980s and early-1990s. During his senior season in 1991, Weldon was a first-team All-American and finished runner-up in the Heisman Trophy balloting to Desmond Howard of Michigan. Weldon was selected in the fourth round of the 1992 NFL draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. He also played in the World League and for the Birmingham Thunderbolts of the XFL.
