Leah Andreone (born May 24, 1972) is an American musician.
Andreone was born and raised in San Diego, California and attended Helix High School in La Mesa. While attending San Diego State University, she also spent time in Los Angeles, singing at night. Eventually she moved to LA, worked during the day and sang in various clubs at night.
Andreone's first album, Veiled , produced by Rick Neigher, was released by RCA in 1996. It included the hit single "It's Alright, It's OK", which charted in the U.S., [1] Europe, [2] [3] [4] and Australia. [5] It was introspective whereas her next album, Alchemy , was more sexual and intimate. Andreone's lyrics are often treatises on psychology, reflecting her interest in the subject.
After Alchemy, Andreone continued to write and perform. She collaborated with other artists and writers, such as Billy Steinberg, Kevin Fisher, Rob Hyman, Eric Bazilian, Marti Frederiksen, Charlie Clouser (Nine Inch Nails), John Shanks, David Lowery (Cracker), John Lowery (Marilyn Manson), Kasia Livingston, Kay Hanley (Letters To Cleo), Michelle Lewis, and Martha Davis (The Motels). She has also worked as a producer and toured with Lilith Fair.
Andreone contributed a cover version of Carole King's "I Feel the Earth Move" to the Speed 2: Cruise Control soundtrack. She also released the Veiled era song, "We're Not Alone" to the Women For Women 2 album, proceeds from which went to the National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations. In August 2008, she released a cover version of "You Are My Sunshine" on the compilation CD UndisCOVERed.
In 2006, Andreone released an EP of new material entitled UNLABELED - The Demos , which contains a cover version of Beyoncé Knowles's "Deja Vu". On September 1, 2009, she released a new full-length CD entitled Avalanche (written and produced by Andreone and Kevin Fisher). Avalanche includes a co-written duet with Dan Wilson (Semisonic, Dixie Chicks, etc.). A video was released for the first single, "Never Stop Trying".
As of 2021, Leah has not released any material since a 2017 track via Bandcamp [6]
Fine Young Cannibals (FYC) were an English pop rock band formed in Birmingham, England, in 1984 by former The Beat band bassist David Steele and guitarist Andy Cox with singer Roland Gift. Their self-titled 1985 debut album contained "Johnny Come Home" and a cover of "Suspicious Minds", two songs that were top 40 hits in the UK, Canada, Australia and Europe. Their 1989 album, The Raw & the Cooked, topped the UK, US, Australian and Canadian album charts, and contained their two Billboard Hot 100 number ones: "She Drives Me Crazy" and "Good Thing".
Black Box is an Italian house music group popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group is currently made up of DJ Daniele Davoli, classically trained clarinet teacher Valerio Semplici, keyboardist and electronic musician Mirko Limoni, and vocalist Celestine Walcott-Gordon. French fashion model Katrin Quinol joined the act in 1989 and became the official face of Black Box, appearing on the cover of their single and album releases as well as in music videos, including the hit "Ride on Time", which was the highest-selling single of 1989 in the UK. The following year, it was revealed that Quinol was lip-syncing and had not performed on the recording. American singer Martha Wash performed the majority of the songs on the group's debut album, Dreamland, while being uncredited.
Alchemy: Dire Straits Live is the first live album by the British rock band Dire Straits, released on 16 March 1984 by Vertigo Records internationally, and by Warner Bros. Records in the United States. Recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 22–23 July 1983, the double album features songs from the band's first four albums, the ExtendedancEPlay EP and Mark Knopfler's Local Hero soundtrack. Many of the songs have reworked arrangements and extended instrumental segments. The album cover is taken from a painting by Brett Whiteley.

Tonight Alright is the sixth studio album by Australian alternative rock band Spiderbait, released on 28 March 2004 through Universal Music Australia. It was primarily recorded in Weed, California, by producer Sylvia Massy. It peaked at number 14 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold. "Black Betty", a cover of the traditional African American work song, served as the album's lead single and became Spiderbait's first number-one hit in Australia. The song also appeared on the soundtracks for the 2004 film Without a Paddle and the racing video game Need for Speed: Underground 2. In May 2024, Spiderbait announced a national tour celebrating 20 years of Tonight Alright. Alongside the announcement of the tour, they announced that the album's going to be issued on vinyl for the first time.

Left of the Middle is the debut studio album by Australian singer Natalie Imbruglia. It was released by RCA Records on 24 November 1997 in the United Kingdom, followed by most international territories in early 1998. Alright, Still is the debut studio album by English singer Lily Allen, released on 13 July 2006 by Regal Recordings. After being rejected by several record labels, Allen signed to London Records, who eventually lost interest in her, leading her to meet production duo Future Cut and sign to Regal Recordings. Recording for the album began in 2004 with sessions between Allen and Future Cut, and Allen's work garnered publicity on the internet as she posted demos to her MySpace account before they were officially released. Allen later travelled to the United States to work with Greg Kurstin and Mark Ronson, to complete the final half of the album in 2006.
