Leandro Marinho is a Brazilian Paralympic footballer.
Leandro is a Paralympic footballer who a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens, Greece. [1] He also participated in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China on 10 September 2008. [2]
The 2008 Summer Paralympic Games, the 13th Paralympics, took place in Beijing, China from September 6 to 17, 2008. As with the 2008 Summer Olympics, equestrian events were held in Hong Kong and sailing events in Qingdao.

The Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos, formerly the Estádio Olímpico João Havelange, is a multi-purpose stadium located in the neighbourhood of Engenho de Dentro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It is used mostly for football matches and athletics and is the home stadium of the football club Botafogo. The stadium was built by a consortium under the leadership of Odebrecht S.A., from 2003 through to 2007, opening in time for the 2007 Pan American Games. Oscar Leonard Carl Pistorius is a South African former professional sprinter who was convicted of murder in 2015. He was born missing the outside of both feet and both fibulae. Both of his feet were amputated when he was 11 months old due to this congenital defect. Pistorius ran in both non-disabled sprint events and in sprint events for below-knee amputees. He was the tenth athlete to compete at both the Paralympic Games and Olympic Games.
Bradley John Ness, OAM is an Australian wheelchair basketballer. He won a gold medal at the 2008 Beijing and silver medals at 2004 Athens and 2012 London Paralympics. He was selected as the Australian flag bearer at the Opening Ceremony at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

Gauci represented Australia at the 2002, 2006 and 2010 World Championships, and was named to the World All Star 5 at the World Championships in Amsterdam in 2006. Bruno Manoel Marinho is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Åtvidabergs FF as a midfielder. He first came to Sweden in 2008 after having previously belonged to Guarani FC and Santos FC in Brazil. In Sweden he started out playing for FC Norrköping in the lower divisions of Swedish football but was quickly discovered by Superettan club Åtvidabergs FF who brought him over on loan. After only a few months he had impressed the club enough for them to sign him on a permanent contract.

He has won one gold and three bronze medals at the IPC Athletics World Championships and a bronze medal at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. He won the gold medal in the Men's T46 marathon at 2019 World Para Athletics Championships held as part of the London Marathon in a world record.
Luke Cain is an SH2-classified Australian shooter who became a paraplegic after an accident while playing Australian rules football. He started competing in 2007, as the sport suited his disability, and has been a Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holder since 2008. He first represented Australia internationally in 2009 at a World Cup event in South Korea. He has also represented Australia in two Paralympic Games including the 2016 Rio Paralympics.

He went on to compete at IPC European and World Championships. He also competed at the 2000, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Paralympics, but did not medal in any of these Games.
Adolfo Samuel Acosta Rodríguez, commonly known as Adolfo Acosta, is a Spanish 5-a-side football player. Playing for the Spain national team, he won a pair of bronze medals at the 2004 Summer Paralympics and the 2012 Summer Paralympics. Competing at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, his team finished just out of medal contention in fourth place overall. Outside football, he is on the Executive Board and is a member of the General Assembly for the Federación Española de Deportes para Ciegos (FEDC).
