Leeah Deneen Jackson (born January 26, 1998) is an American teen actress, singer, chef, and dancer with appearances in films and television series and more than 25 commercials. She played the role of Haley in The Shield TV series. Leeah is presently a student studying "Esthetician" and "Make-Up".
Jackson was born in St. Louis, Missouri to Towana Taylor-Jackson, and Clarence Jackson Jr. Her grandfather is Clarence Jackson, who is the brother of Henry Jackson Jr. aka Henry Armstrong. The family moved to California to pursue her brother Henry E. Taylor III's career. She is the youngest sibling of 4, LaKia, FaTina, and Henry. A great-niece of professional boxer Henry Jackson Jr. (aka "Henry Armstrong") [1] and fourth cousin of Eleanora Fagan, better known as Billie Holiday. [2] She claims multi-ethnic ancestry, including "African American, "Creole" and "Irish", among others.

The National Jazz Museum in Harlem is a museum dedicated to preservation and celebration of the jazz history of Harlem, Manhattan, New York City. The idea for the museum was conceived in 1995. The museum was founded in 1997 by Leonard Garment, counsel to two U.S. presidents, and an accomplished jazz saxophonist, Abraham David Sofaer, a former U.S. district judge who gave the initial gift in honor of his brother-in-law Richard J. Scheuer, Jr., and matching funds from the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation. For more than 15 years, the museum was based in East Harlem at 104 East 126th Street.
Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill is a play with music featuring several of Billie Holiday's most famous songs. The play was written by Lanie Robertson and recounts some events in the life of Holiday. It premiered in 1986 at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia, and soon played Off-Broadway. The play opened on Broadway in 2014, and also played in London's West End in 2017.
