Legends in Concert is a live tribute artist production with shows located primarily in Las Vegas, Nevada; Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Branson, Missouri; and Waikiki, Hawaii. Legends in Concert features live concerts paying tribute to musical icons of the past and present. The performers resemble and sing like the original artists while being backed by a live band and dancers. Performances are scheduled year round across the globe and its five primary locations in the United States.
The show has been running since its debut at the Imperial Palace on May 5, 1983, the longest running show in Las Vegas history.
It has received entertainment industry awards "Show of the Year", "Entertainers of the Year", "Grand Slam" and "Show of Shows" awarded by the International Press Association.
Each performer looks like the star they portray, and uses their own natural voice to pay homage to their iconic music subject. Legends in Concert live tribute shows are known for their elaborate theatrical sets, magnificent costumes and full array of elaborate special effects, including three dimensional multimedia and multimillion dollar, state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems.
Legends in Concert was founded in 1983 in Las Vegas, Nevada. During that same year, Legends' first show was performed at the Imperial Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show is currently owned and produced by On Stage Entertainment, Inc. 2013 marked the 30th Anniversary for Legends in Concert entertainment productions.
The Legends in Concert show has expanded its production to The Legends in Concert Theater in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theater in Branson, Missouri; Norwegian Cruise Lines newest ship Norwegian Epic; Blue Chip Casino, Hotel and Spa in Michigan City, Indiana; Coushatta Casino in Kinder, Louisiana; Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki, Hawaii; Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut; and Bally's Atlantic City in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
In 2013, Legends in Concert furthered its partnership with Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. a joint venture, full-scale touring production presenting a US national tour called Elvis Lives. The tour presents the music of Elvis throughout the many phases of his career in a live concert featuring 4 Elvis tribute artists.
The pilot production of Legends in Concert in Las Vegas, Nevada, moved from its original location at the Imperial Palace and Hotel Casino to Harrah's Las Vegas on February 23, 2009. [1] In February 2013, Legends in Concert moved to The Flamingo Las Vegas. [2]
The Surfside Beach, SC show, which had been in that location since 1995, moved to the former Club Kryptonite location next to Planet Hollywood at Broadway at the Beach in nearby Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after its final show in the former location on October 6, 2010. [3]
Legends has begun experimenting with international performances. As of 2016, Legends had touring performances, but no permanent international venues. [4]

Hard Rock Cafe, Inc. is a chain of theme bar-restaurants, memorabilia shops, casinos and museums founded in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London. In 1979, the cafe began covering its walls with rock and roll memorabilia, a tradition which expanded to others in the chain. In 2007, Hard Rock Cafe International (USA), Inc. was sold to the Seminole Tribe of Florida and was headquartered in Orlando, Florida, until April 2018, when the corporate offices were relocated to Davie, Florida. As of July 2018, Hard Rock International has venues in 74 countries, including 172 bar or cafe-restaurants, 37 hotels, and 11 casinos.
The Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino is a hotel, casino, and timeshare resort in Winchester, Nevada. Located near the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip, it is owned by Westgate Resorts. It opened in 1969 as the International Hotel, and was known for many years as the Las Vegas Hilton, then briefly as the LVH – Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. From 1981 to 1990, it was the largest hotel in the world.
An Elvis impersonator is an entertainer who impersonates or copies the look and sound of American musician and singer Elvis Presley. Professional Elvis impersonators, commonly known as Elvis tribute artists (ETAs), work all over the world as entertainers, and such tribute acts remain in great demand due to the unique iconic status of Elvis. In addition, there are several radio stations that exclusively feature Elvis impersonator material. Some of these impersonators go to Graceland on the anniversary of Presley's death to make their personal tribute to the artist.

The Michelob Ultra Arena, formerly the Mandalay Bay Events Center, is a 12,000-seat multi-purpose indoor arena at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned and operated by MGM Resorts International, and was opened on April 10, 1999. MGM and brewing company Anheuser-Busch entered a naming-rights agreement in 2021, naming the arena after the company's Michelob Ultra beer.

Broadway at the Beach is a shopping center and entertainment complex located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Broadway at the Beach is owned and operated by Burroughs & Chapin. The $250 million attraction is set on 350 acres (1.4 km2) in the heart of Myrtle Beach and features three theaters, over 20 restaurants and over 100 specialty shops as well as attractions, Clubs for the night, and hotels, all surrounding the 23-acre (93,000 m2) Lake Broadway. Broadway at the Beach receives upwards of 14 million visitors annually.

The group mainly performed at the Main Showroom of the Outrigger Waikiki in Hawaii, and has toured Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and other major cities in the West Coast of the United States. Its original members were Tony Ruivivar, Bert Sagum, Don Gay, Terry Lucido, Roberto Nievera, Stan Robertson, and Danny Ruivivar.

The Bakkt Theater, originally known as Aladdin Theatre for the Performing Arts, is a mid-sized auditorium located at Planet Hollywood Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. The venue hosts a variety of events, including charity benefits, concerts and award shows. It is used frequently for the beauty pageants Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA. From 2013 to 2017, the auditorium was the home to Britney Spears's concert residency Piece of Me and Justin Timberlake's annual concert to benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. The National Football League used the auditorium for the first three rounds of the 2022 NFL Draft and will do so again for the 2024 NFL Honors. In 2011, it was voted as one of the "Best Concert Halls & Theaters In Las Vegas".

With exceptions, virtual venues are included. An artist who performs on a concert residency is called a resident performer. Concert residencies have been the staple of the Las Vegas Strip for decades, pioneered by singer-pianist Liberace in the 1940s and Frank Sinatra with the Rat Pack in the 1950s.
