Leonard Cy Dollaga [1] (born 1968) [2] is a United States Navy rear admiral who has served as the Chief of Legislative Affairs since May 13, 2022. [3] [4] He most recently served as the Commander of Submarine Group 7, Task Force 74, and Task Force 54 from August 28, 2020 to April 13, 2022. He was previously the commander of the Undersea Warfighting Development Center from May 24, 2018, to June 18, 2020. [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]
Raised in Vallejo, California, Dollaga is a 1990 graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He later earned a master's degree in engineering management from George Washington University. [5]

William Rhode Merz is an American flag officer, former deputy chief of naval operations for warfare systems and vice admiral in the United States Navy who served as commander of Seventh Fleet from September 12, 2019 to July 8, 2021. Merz's aboard assignments include USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), "Submarine Group Seven" and Task Force 74. As a flag officer, he was assigned to commands at naval mine destroyer ships and anti-submarine warfare command. Later, he was appointed to Task Force 77 stationed at San Diego and TF-54 in Bahrain.
