The Leopold Mozart Centre (German: Leopold-Mozart-Zentrum (LMZ) in Augsburg, Germany, is a university of music, founded as part of the University of Augsburg in 2008. It is located in the buildings of the former Musikhochschule as well as buildings on the university campus.
The Leopold Mozart Centre was founded after the model of the Hochschule für Musik Mainz as part of the University of Mainz. It is focused on the interchange of music and science, offering music pedagogy, music therapy, mental training and improvisation, among others. The centre offers the common artistic and pedagogical bachelor and master courses such as string instruments, keyboard instruments, voice, wind instruments, percussion, conducting and musicology. All studies include elementary courses in psychology, sociology and political studies. The Collegium Musicum offers possibilities of music making in groups such as the orchestra, choir, chamber choir, big band, and various chamber music ensembles.

Marcello Abbado was an Italian pianist, composer, conductor and academic teacher. His compositions include several orchestral works, two ballets, numerous pieces for solo piano, and chamber music. As a pianist, he played in major concert halls of the world. He taught composition at several conservatories, ultimately at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory. In 1989 he was awarded the gold medal for Meritorious Culture and Art by the Government of Italy.

The Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto is one of several professional faculties at the University of Toronto. The Faculty of Music is located at the Edward Johnson Building, just south of the Royal Ontario Museum and north of Queen's Park, west of Museum Subway Station. MacMillan Theatre and Walter Hall are located in the Edward Johnson Building. The Peter Cornelius Conservatory is the conservatory in Mainz, the capital of the German state Rhineland-Palatinate. It dates back to a first conservatory founded around 1882. It is named after the composer Peter Cornelius who was born in Mainz. It trains both professionals and amateurs, focused of the interplay of both aspects of music-making.
Julius Berger is a German cellist, musicologist and an academic of chamber music and cello at the Leopold Mozart Centre of the Augsburg University. He recorded the sonatas and concertos by Luigi Boccherini, but also contemporary music by John Cage, Toshio Hosokawa, Adriana Hölszky and Sofia Gubaidulina. He is the artistic director of music festivals.
Otto Jochum was a German composer, choral director and music educator. He was influential in Augsburg, where he was organist at St. Georg from 1922, director of a Singschule for vocal training from 1933, founding a seminary for vocal educators in 1935 and a municipal choir the same year. He was also director of the Augsburg Conservatory from 1938. After World War II, he was municipal music director in Augsburg.
Fabian Kelly is a German tenor and choral conductor. As a singer, he is most active in concert, including historically informed performances in works such as Monteverdi's Vespro della Beata Vergine and Handel's Messiah. He recorded a revival of Franz Ignaz Beck's opera L'isle déserte and Mozart's Requiem.
Linus Roth is a German classical violinist and an academic teacher of violin. He has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. He is particularly interested in the music of Mieczysław Weinberg, whose complete works featuring a solo violin Roth has recorded. He has been a teacher at the Leopold Mozart Centre, and artistic director of music festivals. Roth plays the 1703 Dancla Stradivarius on loan from Landesbank Baden-Württemberg.
