Leskovets is a village in Berkovitsa Municipality, Montana Province, north-western Bulgaria. [1]
Berkovitsa Municipality is a municipality (obshtina) in Montana Province, Northwestern Bulgaria, located in the area of the so-called Fore-Balkan to the northern slopes of the western Stara planina mountain. It is named after its administrative centre - the town of Berkovitsa.

Opaka is a town in Targovishte Province in northeast Bulgaria. As of December 2009, the town had a population of 2,873 and covers an area of 57 square kilometres (22 sq mi). Archeologists have found evidence of Thracian, Roman and Slavonic settlements in the area. Near the village of Krepcha, a stone monastery is the site of the oldest known Old Bulgarian Cyrillic inscription, dated from around 920 CE. A 2nd century Thracian tumulus containing various artifacts, including six leaves of a golden wreath and bronze figurines, was excavated in 2011.
Roman (Роман) is a town in northwestern Bulgaria near the city of Pravets and about 90 km northeast of the capital of Bulgaria, Sofia. It is located in Vratsa Province and is known for the big steel factory, producing 100,000 tons of steel a year. The raw materials come from the Kremikovtsi factory near Sofia. As of December 2009, the town has a population of 3,157 inhabitants.

Varshets is a spa town in Montana Province, northwestern Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Varshets Municipality. As of December 2009, its population is 6,538. The town is located on the northern slopes of the western part of the Balkan mountains in the small valley of the Botunya River, at 43°12′N23°17′E, 359 metres above sea level. One of the oldest and most popular resorts in northern Bulgaria, it is known for its curative mineral springs, mild mountain climate, natural environment and a large park. The town's tourist infrastructure includes two spa centres, a polyclinic, several rest houses, hotels and also many private lodgings. Varshets has an art gallery, a municipal museum and an Eastern Orthodox church dedicated to Saint George.
Godech is a small town located in the Sofia Province, of Bulgaria. The town is founded in a valley on the far west of Stara Planina, where the Nishava River passes. The settlement is about 20 km east of the Serbian border and has its highest peak Kom to the north. Godech is officially a town with 4,663 inhabitants. It is the administrative center of the Godech municipality.
