Letters from the Fire was an American hard rock [2] band from San Francisco, California [3] founded in 2012. [4]
Carley Coma, of Candiria, released an EP with Letters from the fire. He also toured with them in 2012.
In 2014, Letters from the Fire debut their first commercial EP with a cover of the Beatles' "Eleanor Rigby", [2] which ranked No. 41 on Active Rock Radio [5] as well as a music video for "Zombies in the Sun", which hit No. 31 on the American Mediabase Activerock charts. [6] Following national tours with Pop Evil and Trapt, Letters from the Fire and Elliot Weber (former vocalist) decided to part ways because of artistic differences.
In May 2016, the band released "Give In to Me", the first single from Worth the Pain , the debut studio album from the group. [7] Produced by Kile Odell, [4] Worth the Pain released worldwide on September 9, 2016. [8] In December 2016, the ensemble released a lyric video for "Control" [3] and a music video for the title track, "Worth the Pain". [9] [10]
The band toured with Lacey Sturm, Palisades, and Stitched Up Heart [11] in February 2017, [11] and performed throughout the United States alongside Adelitas Way in March 2017. [12] [13] [14] In May, July and August 2017, the ensemble plans to travel throughout North America to open for Seether [15] with dates accompanying Black Stone Cherry from late May until the middle of June 2017. [16] On May 31, 2017, the band published a music video for the song "At War". [17]
In late August 2017, Keller announced that the ensemble plans to work on their second studio album. [18] Almost two months later, Kabazie [19] and Sumwalt [20] parted ways with the group, announcing Nina Bergman [19] as the new lead vocalist and Seth Hostetter as their new drummer. [20] Two weeks later, the group announced that they would begin recording in December 2017 with producer Colin Brittain. [21]
On April 1, 2018, Bergman announced that "Comfort You", the first single from Letters from the Fire , their self-titled second studio album, which was released on April 13, 2018. [22] On April 13, 2018, the group announced that the album would be released on June 15, 2018. [23] At that time, the group toured the United States with electronicore band Palisades. [24]
Between late 2018 and late 2019, Letters from the Fire broke up. [1]

Trapt is an American rock band formed in Los Gatos, California. Nine studio albums have been recorded to date: Amalgamation (1999), Trapt (2002), Someone in Control (2005), Only Through the Pain (2008), No Apologies (2010), Reborn (2013), DNA (2016), Shadow Work (2020), and their newest album The Fall (2024) was released in May. Its lineup for all studio recordings have consisted of Chris Taylor Brown (vocals) and Pete Charell (bass), with various members filling other roles over the course of their career.
Suffocation is an American death metal band formed in 1988 in Centereach, New York, currently consisting of lead guitarist Terrance Hobbs, bassist Derek Boyer, rhythm guitarist Charlie Errigo, drummer Eric Morotti, and vocalist Ricky Myers. The band rose to prominence with their 1991 debut album Effigy of the Forgotten, which became a blueprint for death metal in the 1990s. Since then, Suffocation has recorded eight albums. These feature growled vocals with downtuned guitars, fast and complex guitar riffs and drumming, open chord notes and occasional breakdowns.
Smile Empty Soul is an American rock band, originally from Santa Clarita, California, United States. It was started in 1998 by Sean Danielsen, Ryan Martin (bass), and Derek Gledhill (drums). Following the departure of Gledhill and Martin from the band in 2005 and 2017, respectively, Danielsen remains the only founding member still active as well as the band's primary songwriter, frontman, and leader.
Hinder is an American rock band from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, formed in 2001 by lead singer Austin John Winkler, guitarist Joe "Blower" Garvey, and drummer Cody Hanson with bassist Mike Rodden and guitarist Mark King joining in 2003, solidifying the line-up. The band released four studio albums with Winkler; Extreme Behavior (2005), Take It to the Limit (2008), All American Nightmare (2010) and Welcome to the Freakshow (2012). Cody Hanson, along with former lead singer Austin Winkler, wrote the majority of the band's music on their first four albums. After Winkler left the band in 2013, they looked for a new lead vocalist, and added Marshal Dutton. They have since released When the Smoke Clears (2015) and The Reign (2017) with their new vocalist. Their seventh studio album is currently in the works. The band was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame in 2007.
Five Finger Death Punch, also abbreviated as 5FDP or FFDP, is an American heavy metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2005. The band originally consisted of vocalist and keyboardist Ivan Moody, rhythm guitarist Zoltan Bathory, lead guitarist Caleb Andrew Bingham, bassist Matt Snell, and drummer Jeremy Spencer. Bingham was replaced by guitarist Darrell Roberts in 2006, who was then replaced by Jason Hook in 2009. Bassist Matt Snell departed from the band in 2010, and was replaced by Chris Kael in 2011. Spencer then departed the band in 2018 due to recurring back issues, and was replaced by Charlie Engen, making rhythm guitarist Bathory the only remaining founding member of the band. In October 2020, British guitarist Andy James became the band's lead guitarist, replacing Jason Hook.
In This Moment is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Jesse Landry.

Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band formed in New Jersey in 2009. The group currently consists of lead guitarist Adam De Micco, drummer Austin Archey, rhythm guitarist Andrew O'Connor, vocalist Will Ramos, and bassist Michael Yager. The band is most known for their 2021 single "To the Hellfire". They have released four studio albums Psalms (2015), Flesh Coffin (2017), Immortal (2020), and Pain Remains (2022). The band has also released four EPs. No original members remain in the band.
Sean Julian Danielsen (born February 14, 1982) is an American musician and artistic painter, best known as the guitarist and lead vocalist of American rock bands Smile Empty Soul and World Fire Brigade. In addition to creating one studio album and three independent extended play albums, Danielsen has also collaborated on Noise Refinery compilation album Anger Management with former He Is Legend rhythm guitarist Mitchell Ray Marlow.
Veridia, often stylized in all capital letters as VERIDIA, is an American alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee. Formed in 2013, the group now consists of Deena Jakoub (vocals), Brandon Brown (guitar), and Kyle Levy (drums). The band is composed of singer/guitarist Josh Katz, lead guitarist Joey Morrow, bass guitarist Alex Espiritu and drummer Anthony Sonetti.
