Levante Ferries is a Greece-based ferry company which was established in 2014. Today, a fleet of four ferries serves the transportation needs of the islands Zakynthos, Cephalonia and Ithaca.

Currently, Levante Ferries is operating lines in Zante, Cephalonia and Ithaca islands. The company also operated a route between Thessaloniki and Izmir in Autumn 2022, but it was eventually stopped due to lack of demand. [2] The operating routes are:

Kefalonia or Cephalonia, formerly also known as Kefallinia or Kephallenia (Κεφαλληνία), is the largest of the Ionian Islands in western Greece and the 6th largest island in Greece after Crete, Euboea, Lesbos, Rhodes and Chios. The name, like all similar names ending in -nthos, is pre-Mycenaean or Pelasgian in origin. In Greek mythology the island was said to be named after Zacynthus, the son of the legendary Arcadian chief Dardanus.

Argostoli is a town and a municipality on the island of Kefalonia, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2019 local government reform it is one of the three municipalities on the island. It has been the capital and administrative centre of Kefalonia since 1757, following a population shift down from the old capital of Agios Georgios to take advantage of the trading opportunities provided by the sheltered bay upon which Argostoli sits. Argostoli developed into one of the busiest ports in Greece, leading to prosperity and growth. The municipality has an area of 377.0 km2 and the municipal unit has an area of 157.670 km2. The 2011 census recorded a population of 10,633 in the Argostoli municipal unit, and 23,499 in the municipality in its post-2019 extension. Its largest towns are Argostóli, Razata (507), Dilináta (496) and Kompothekráta (449).

Adamantia Vasilogamvrou is a Greek archaeologist. She studied at the universities of Athens and the Sorbonne and worked as an archaeologist for the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports for 35 years. She is Honorary Ephor of Antiquities in the Ephorate of Laconia and director of the archaeological excavations and surveys at the site of Agios Vasileios, a Mycenaean palace discovered near Sparta in 2009. Her work at Ayios Vasileios has been featured in the Greek media and the palace's discovery was chosen as one of the 10 most important archaeological discoveries worldwide by the 2013 Shanghai Archaeology Forum.

The 2021–22 Super League 2, known as Super League 2 betsson for sponsorship reasons, is the third season of the Super League 2, the second-tier Greek professional league for association football clubs, since the restructuring of the Greek football league system.
