Leverage is the fourth studio album by the German folk metal band Lyriel.
Among a mix of soft folk rock as well as symphonic metal [1] [2] and Gothic Metal [3] it features a duet with Schandmaul vocalist Thomas Lindner. [4] Leverage contains two songs "The Road Not Taken" and "Parting" that are based on lyrics by Robert Frost and Charlotte Brontë respectively [5] On the extended edition there is a version of "Everything's Coming Up Roses" by Black. Leverage received several positive reviews in Germany, Austria and the United Kingdom. It was however noted that the "album does lose some steam near its conclusion" [7] and that the band should have dared to evolve towards harder metal songs. [1] [2] Metal Hammer Germany criticised also that many songs were drifting off towards "Celtic kitsch", and that Lyriel's new orientation towards Nightwish was only backed up by their instrumental performance but not by the vocals. [8]

Lacrimosa is a Swiss Gothic band led by German Tilo Wolff, the main composer, and Finn Anne Nurmi. They are currently based in Switzerland, but originally from Germany. Originally counted among the bands of the Neue Deutsche Todeskunst genre, Lacrimosa are most associated with the gothic metal and symphonic metal genres.
"Butterfly" is a song by American rap rock band Crazy Town. The song was released in October 2000 as the third single from their debut album, The Gift of Game. It gained mainstream popularity after being released physically on February 20, 2001. It is based on a sample of "Pretty Little Ditty" from the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 1989 album Mother's Milk, so band members Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith, and John Frusciante are credited as writers.
"She Hates Me", originally titled "She Fucking Hates Me", is a song by the American rock band Puddle of Mudd. It was written in 1993 but remained unreleased until 2002 when it became the fourth and final single from the band's debut album Come Clean.
Omnia is a self-described "neoceltic pagan folk" band based in the Netherlands, whose members over the years have had Irish, Dutch, Cornish, Belgian, Indonesian, and Persian backgrounds. Their music takes the form of various cultural routes, from places such as Ireland, England, Cornwall, and Iran. The name of the band is a Latin word that means "everything".

Tales of Ithiria is the fourth studio album by the German symphonic metal band Haggard. Previously known under its work title A Dark Winter's Tale, this album breaks the band's habit of writing about historical characters and events. Instead, it tells a fictional, medieval-themed story written by Haggard's songwriter Asis Nasseri. The album includes a cover version of the song "Hijo de la Luna", originally written by José María Cano and performed by his own band, Spanish Pop group Mecano. However, his authorship of the song is not acknowledged in the CD's booklet, instead being referred to as "Traditional" music and lyrics.
MyEarthDream is the sixth studio album by the Austrian Symphonic metal band Edenbridge. It is the first album by the band that was recorded with an orchestra, namely the Czech Film Orchestra. The music focuses on b-flat-tuned 7-string guitars and is darker and harder than the band's previous releases.
Lyriel are a German heavy metal band who formed in autumn of 2003 in Gummersbach. Originally playing folk metal, they turned more towards symphonic and gothic metal. Lyriel has recorded five studio albums and published a DVD of a live performance.

Von den Elben is the seventh studio album by the German medieval folk band Faun. It was released on 25 January 2013. Among new original content it contains a number of cover versions of old Faun tracks and songs by other artists. After signing a contract with the Universal label and the Valicon production team, Faun for the first time released an album with lyrics completely in German language. It is the first album to feature members Stephan Groth and Katja Moslehner. The album features duets with two other German bands: Santiano and Subway to Sally. Michael Boden from Subway to Sally also contributed the lyrics for tracks like "Warte auf mich" [Wait for Me].

Luna is the eighth studio album by the German medieval folk band Faun. It was released on 5 September 2014 and has become Faun's most successful release.
Skin and Bones is the fifth studio album by the German band Lyriel. Containing a mix of folk rock, gothic metal and symphonic metal, it was recorded without former band member Steffen Feldmann and published in September 2014.
Förbundet is the seventh studio album by the Swedish folk rock band Garmarna. Released in 2020, it is their first album on the Season of Mist label. Unlike the previous album 6 and similar to albums before that, Förbundet is again dominated by traditional instruments, melodies and lyrics, although there are still numerous electronic influences. These were added in cooperation with Christopher Juul of Heilung who also produced the album. Most tracks tell sinister folklore stories but the album includes two original titles written entirely by Garmarna. Anders Norudde of Hedningarna, Maria Franz of Heilung and Swedish folk singer Ulf Gruvberg appear as guest musicians.
