Lex Talion is a Viking Metal/Folk Metal band founded in La Plata, Argentina.
Including various influences from different subgenres of Metal music and some symphonic passages, they achieved a musical balance with an identity of its own, together with lyrics that range from social protest to paganism and Scandinavian mythology.
Formed in 2010 as a solo project of Ramiro J. Pellizzari (guitar/vocals), but gradually evolved when Elias Gonzalez Bader (bass) and Federico Vogliolo (guitar/vocals) and its style was shaped and redefined.
In 2012 the band edit their first full length album “Funeral in the Forest” independently, which granted them several interviews and reviews on international magazines such as Metal Hammer (Germany) or Dark City (Russia) among others.
In the year 2013, The band sign their first record deal with the Russian label "Metal Renaissance Records" who distributed the material throughout East Europe. The album was also put in stores in Japan and other Asian countries.
Between 2014 and 2016, the band complete their line-up with Lautaro Rueda (drums) and Daniela Martínez (keyboards) and begin giving a series of live concerts and participating in festivals with great response from the audience.
In 2017, the new bassist, Manuel Luna, joins the band and they release an EP called "Nightwing" [1] promoting their oncoming second studio album with a much more polished production and a completely different and more aggressive sound from its predecessor. A promotional video for the song "King Of Death" is also released in late 2017.
In 2018, following the line of production of "Nightwing", the band releases its second full-length album, "Sons Of Chaos", signing record deals in Japan and Australia and preparing to perform their first international shows.

Vintersorg is a Swedish band from Skellefteå, formed in 1994 under the name Vargatron. Musically, Vintersorg has covered a wide number of heavy metal genres; while the band is mostly rooted in extreme metal styles, particularly black metal and Viking/folk metal, it has also expanded into progressive metal and avant-garde metal. Lyrically, the band deals with topics on fantasy, mythology, nature, the cosmos, and metaphysics. Vintersorg means "Winter Sorrow," but the name was taken from The Legend of the Ice People series by Margit Sandemo, where the character Vintersorg is the son of a great pagan leader.
Enter is the debut studio album by Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation, released by DSFA Records in 1997. After the band became more widely known in foreign markets, it was released by the independent label Season of Mist in North America in 2007, and re-printed by Nuclear Blast in 2014. It was produced by Lex Vogelaar, founder of the Dutch death metal band Orphanage, and had to recorded, completed and mixed within three weeks.
Moonsorrow is a Finnish pagan metal band formed in Helsinki in 1995. Musically, the band incorporates elements of black metal and folk metal in their sound. The band call their sound "epic heathen metal" and try to distance themselves from the term "Viking metal". They have distanced themselves from other folk metal bands, emphasising that their music is pagan and spiritual and is challenging for its listeners, rather than happy or danceable. The band members have varying levels of pagan belief but they draw on pagan spirituality for lyrics and inspiration.

Alf Peter Tägtgren is a Swedish musician and record producer. He is the founder, main songwriter, lead vocalist, and guitarist of death metal band Hypocrisy as well as the industrial metal band Pain in which he is the only member. He is also the owner of The Abyss recording studio and the co-founder of Lindemann, a music project between Tägtgren and Rammstein vocalist Till Lindemann. Tägtgren left Lindemann in 2020.
Viking Crown was a side project started by heavy metal musician Phil Anselmo in the mid-1990s. The first Viking Crown release was an EP recorded in 1994 titled Unorthodox Steps of Ritual which featured Anselmo, credited as Anton Crowley, on guitar, bass, drums and vocals. The two later releases would feature Necrophagia frontman Killjoy on vocals and Anselmo's now-ex-wife Stephanie Opal Weinstein on keyboards. Killjoy would later go on to describe Viking Crown as "a selfish band in which we recorded without regard for conventional methods, songwriting, or any goals except to make truly dark depressing, lo-fi black metal that we liked." Following an interview in which Anselmo regarded the project as a joke, there was a fallout between himself and Killjoy that would culminate in Anselmo leaving all Baphomet Records related projects altogether.
Chrome Division is a Norwegian heavy metal band formed in 2004 by Shagrath, the lead vocalist of symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir. Its current lineup consists of him on rhythm guitar, along with Eddie Guz as the vocalist, Mr Damage on lead guitar and Tony White on drums. The band plays biker metal and has released five albums, Doomsday Rock 'n Roll in 2006, Booze, Broads and Beelzebub in 2008, 3rd Round Knockout in 2011, Infernal Rock Eternal in 2014, and One Last Ride in 2015, the band has announced that their fifth album is their last album.
Tumulus is a Russian progressive folk metal band from Yaroslavl, Russia. They were formed from the ashes of cult doom metal/viking metal band Scald, after the death of Scald's frontman Agyl. From the beginning, Tumulus moved away from Scald's doom metal roots and played folk metal, combining metal music with traditional Russian folk and incorporated instruments as flute, tambourine and balalaika.
Mechanical Poet was a Russian metal band formed in Moscow, Russia, in 2002, led by composer, guitarist and keyboardist Lex Plotnikoff (1977-2022). The band released concept albums in post-prog and symphonic progressive metal genres with orchestral arrangements and heavy use of keyboards. Its music is strongly influenced by film score composers like Danny Elfman, and its lyrics are based on fantasy, gothic and science fiction stories. The band split in 2009, however, Plotnikoff continued releasing his music under various new aliases until his death in 2022.

Wolfchant is a metal band formed in St. Oswald, Germany in August 2003 by Lokhi, Gaahnt, Skaahl, and Norgahd. Wolfchant's lyrics deal with legends and folk tales from Nordic mythology. In August 2005 they signed a contract with CCP Records, managed by Caleb Murrell-Smith. With the first full-length album Bloody Tales of Disgraced Lands (2005) the band gained supra-regional respect.

Alex Poole is an American multi-instrumentalist musician from Nashville, Tennessee. Poole has prolifically contributed to the Black Metal genre having led or contributed to a number of black metal bands including Chaos Moon, Manetheren, Krieg, Skaphe, Martrod, and Gardsghastr. He has also played live with a number of bands to fill in for missing guitarists or bassists over the years.
