Liam Bowron (born 24 February 2003) is an Australian professional rugby union player.
Bowron was educated at Canberra's Marist College, Canberra and is trained as a carpenter. [1]
A hooker, Bowron represented Australia at the 2023 World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa. He plays for the Canberra Royals and late in the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season got called up by the ACT Brumbies to take up a place on their bench in place of an injured Billy Pollard, going on to make six appearances. Announced on 11 November 2020, the tournament was the second season of Super Rugby AU, featuring the same 5 teams from the inaugural 2020 season, and ran from 19 February to 8 May 2021. The tournament was won by the Reds, who defeated the Brumbies 19–16 in the final at Suncorp Stadium, winning their first Super Rugby AU title, and first Super Rugby competition since 2011.
Corey Toole is an Australian rugby union and rugby sevens player. He plays domestically with the Brumbies in the Super Rugby. From Wagga Wagga, New South Wales, Toole played for Wagga Waratahs Rugby Club and the Gungahlin Eagles before joining the Brumbies Academy. Toole has also represented the ACT Schoolboys at Nationals.
The ACT Brumbies Women are an Australian rugby union team based in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory (ACT). The team competes in the annual Super W competition. They have competed in every edition since Rugby Australia announced that a national women's rugby competition would be launched in 2018.
