Liam Dobson (born February 6, 1998) is a Canadian professional football offensive lineman for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted third overall in the 2021 CFL Draft by the Blue Bombers. He played college football for the Maine Black Bears and Texas State Bobcats.
A highly-touted prospect out of Canada, Dobson was recruited by number of FBS and FCS schools, including Syracuse, Buffalo, Maine, Colgate, and Fordham. Dobson committed to Maine. In his 2017 freshman season, he participated in six games on an offensive line which allowed the fewest sacks in the CAA. In 2018 Dobson stepped into the starting lineup at right guard, helping guide Maine to the CAA Championship and into the final four of the FCS Playoffs. After the season Dobson received All-CAA second team honors and was named an honorable mention on HERO Sports' Sophomore All-American team. The following season, Dobson was named to the 2019 Preseason All-CAA team. He started all 12 games, splitting time between guard and tackle, and averaged twelve knockdowns per game en route to STATS FCS All-American, All-CAA, and Phil Steele FCS All-Conference honors. Additionally, Dobson was the recipient of Maine's annual honor for offensive linemen: the Sam Sezak Outstanding Offensive Lineman award. Dobson again received Preseason All-American and All-Conference accolades in 2020. However, after the postponement of the CAA football season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dobson entered the transfer portal. [2]
Dobson received numerous scholarship offers from FBS schools once in the transfer portal, ultimately committing to Texas State. After his one season in San Marcos, he was named a PFF All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention while also making the Dean List. [3]
After failing to get picked up by an NFL team after mini-camps with the New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears, Dobson expressed interest in joining the United States Football League but found that the league was not allowed to issue the necessary P visa due to a lack of revenue. [4]

In October, 2024, Dobson was named a CFL Western Conference All-Star.

Herbert William Gray was a Canadian Football Hall of Fame football player who in the 1950s and 1960's won four Grey Cups and played for two others; and was named the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Defensive Player of the Half Century and to the Canadian Football League's (CFL) All-Time All-Star team at defensive end. He made all-star teams as both an offensive lineman and defensive end and was the first defensive player to win the league's Outstanding Lineman award. Prior to that he was an All-American football player at the University of Texas and helped them to win a share of the 1953 Southwest Conference (SWC) Championship.
Vaughn Samuel "Buddy" Alliston Jr. was a professional American football player who played the positions of guard and linebacker. He played college football at the University of Mississippi before being drafted by the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL) in the 15th round of the 1956 NFL draft. Alliston first played professionally in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 1956, he was the runner-up for the CFL's Most Outstanding Lineman Award. After years of military service, he played in the American Football League (AFL) for the Denver Broncos in 1960.
Daniel Terrence LeFevour is an American former professional football quarterback. He was selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL draft by the Chicago Bears and spent time with three other NFL teams before entering the CFL in 2012. Before his professional career begun, he played college football at Central Michigan University. Known as a dual-threat quarterback, LeFevour previously held the record for most touchdowns scored in the history of the NCAA, with 148 touchdowns scored. Case Keenum surpassed that record in 2011.

Dominic Picard is a Canadian former professional football centre who is currently the running backs coach for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for four different teams over an 11-year career in the CFL. Picard played in 151 regular season CFL games and 11 post-season games and was a member of the 101st Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was also named a CFL East All-Star in 2011. He played CIS Football at Laval.
Justin Sorensen is a Canadian former professional football offensive lineman who played in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the BC Lions in the first round of the 2008 CFL Draft and spent two years with the team before joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. After two seasons with the Blue Bombers, he signed as a free agent with the Edmonton Eskimos on February 11, 2014. He earned his first Grey Cup championship as a member of the 103rd Grey Cup champion Eskimos, starting at centre in both the West Final and Grey Cup. He played college football for the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Cornel Piper was a Canadian offensive lineman in the Canadian Football League from 1957 to 1967 for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, named a western conference all-star at offensive guard in 1960 and 1961. He played in all 16 regular season games throughout his career except for his last 2 years.
Willie Hebert Jefferson III is an American professional football defensive end for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Jefferson is a three-time Grey Cup champion, winning with the Edmonton Eskimos in 2015 and twice more with the Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021. He was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 2019 with the Bombers, and is a six-time CFL All-Star and seven-time CFL West All-Star. He has also been a member of the Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Jefferson played college football for the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks and Baylor Bears.

He first enrolled at Elizabeth City State University before transferring to East Carolina University. Bryant attended Goldsboro High School in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
