Liam Harnan is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Meath county team. He had much success playing inter-county football in the 1980s & early 90s on the Meath teams managed by Sean Boylan. For Meath he played Centre Back. He played club football for Moynalvey. During his playing career he won 2 Senior All Ireland Medals (1987 & 1988) as well as 5 Leinster medals, 2 National League medals and a Centenary Cup medal (a competition played to celebrate the one hundred anniversary of the GAA). He was forced to sit on the substitutes' bench for most of the 1990 season due to back injury. He was regarded by Meath supporters as a strong player, a good distributor of the ball & very underestimated outside of Meath. He failed to get an All Star despite being a very important part of what most consider to be Meath's greatest ever team. He is a cousin of former Meath teammates Mick Lyons and Padraig Lyons.
Martin O'Connell is an Irish former sportsperson. He played Gaelic football with his local club St Michael's and was a senior member of the Meath county team from 1984 until 1997. O'Connell was listed on the "An Post/GAA Football Team of the Millennium".

Denis 'Dinny' Allen is a retired Gaelic football manager and former dual player. Allen is regarded as one of the greatest Gaelic footballers of all-time.
Larry Tompkins is a former Irish Gaelic football manager and player. Throughout his 20-year club career, he played for his adopted club Castlehaven, winning three Munster Club Championship titles during a golden age for the club; he had earlier played for his honetown club Eadestown, and also enjoyed championship successes. At inter-county level, he captained Cork to win the 1990 All-Ireland Championship; he had earlier claimed a first winners' medal as centre-forward on the 1989 All-Ireland-winning team. As well as being a successful captain for club and county, Tompkins was also selected for Leinster and Munster in the Railway Cup. After retirement from playing, he served as a coach and manager, most notably with the Cork senior team.
Brian Mullins is a former Gaelic football manager and former player. He played football with his local club St Vincent's and was a senior member of the Dublin county team from 1974 until 1985. Mullins later served as manager of both Dublin and Derry. He is regarded as one of Dublin's greatest-ever players. He is a nephew of Bill Casey, who played for Kerry in the 1930s and 1940s.
Pat Gilroy is a former Gaelic footballer and manager, who most recently managed the senior Dublin county team (2009-2012). A former Dublin footballer himself, he led Dublin to their first All-Ireland Senior Football Championship title in 16 years in 2011.
Mick Lyons is a former Gaelic footballer who played for Summerhill and the Meath county team. He won two All-Ireland medals with Meath in 1987 and 1988 and has also won two All Star awards. He won the Meath Senior Football Championship with Summerhill in 1986. He has generally played at the full-back position for his county.
Brian Stafford is an Irish former Gaelic footballer. He played for the Meath county team in the 1980s and early 1990s under the management of Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at full forward. He played club football for Kilmainhamwood. During his playing career he won two Senior All Ireland medals as well as five Leinster Senior Medals and three National League Medals. He won three All Star awards also. In 1987 he was chosen as the Texaco Footballer of the Year. When playing for Meath he was part of a full forward line of Colm O'Rourke, himself and Bernard Flynn.

Darren Fay is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Meath county team. He is regarded as the latest in a long line of accomplished Meath full-backs, following the likes of Mick Lyons, Jack Quinn, Paddy O'Brien and Tommy "The Boiler" McGuinness. He plays club football for Trim. He came to prominence in 1996 when he won an All-Ireland senior medal in his first season as a Meath regular first team player. In 1999 he won his second All-Ireland medal. He is also the holder of 3 Leinster Senior medals. Fay has won 3 All Star awards. For the 2006 season Fay made himself unavailable for the Meath team but he returned to the Meath panel for the 2007 season. On 23 July 2008 Fay confirmed his retirement after a defeat to Limerick.
Bernard Flynn is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Meath county team. As a teenager he attended secondary school in St Mary's of Drogheda. He enjoyed success play inter-county football in the 1980s and early 1990s on the Meath teams managed by Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at Full Forward. He played club football for St Colmcille's of East Meath up to the 1991 season when he moved to St Joseph's (Laois) and then to Mullingar Shamrocks (Westmeath).
William Morgan is an Irish retired Gaelic football manager and former player who enjoyed a successful career as a goalkeeper and as a manager with the Cork senior team. His five-decade-long association with the team has led to him being regarded as one of the most iconic figures within Cork football.

Sammon later served as manager of the Galway senior inter-county team from 2007 until 2009.
Summerhill Gaelic Football Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the village of Summerhill in County Meath, Ireland. The team was first founded in 1905 but later disbanded. The current club was founded in 1931, and has since won 7 Meath Senior Football Championships. Summerhill is one of three Meath teams to have won the Leinster Senior Club Football Championship.
The 1990 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final was a Gaelic football match played at Croke Park on 16 September 1990 to determine the winners of the 1990 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, the 104th season of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship, a tournament organised by the Gaelic Athletic Association for the champions of the four provinces of Ireland. The final was contested by Cork of Munster and Meath of Leinster, with Cork winning by 0-11 to 0-9.
