Bernard Flynn (born 26 June 1965) is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Meath county team. As a teenager he attended secondary school in St Mary's of Drogheda. He enjoyed success play inter-county football in the 1980s and early 1990s on the Meath teams managed by Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at corner forward. He played club football for St Colmcille's of East Meath up to the 1991 season when he moved to St Joseph's (Laois) and then to Mullingar Shamrocks (Westmeath).
During his playing career he won two Senior All Ireland medals (1987 and 1988) as well as five Leinster medals, three National League Medals and a Centenary Cup Medal (a competition played to celebrate the one hundred anniversary of the GAA). He won two All Star awards as well.
When playing for Meath he was part of a Full Forward line of Colm O'Rourke, Brian Stafford and himself, widely regarded as one of the best Full forward lines of all time.
He has worked as a GAA pundit for RTÉ.
Flynn managed Mullingar Shamrocks and, in January 2021, he became manager of the Meath under-20 county team. [1]

Seán Boylan is an Irish former Gaelic football manager from Dunboyne, County Meath. He retired from his position as manager of the senior Meath county team on the evening of 31 August 2005 after twenty-three years in charge. This was an inter-county managerial record with one team that was only surpassed in Gaelic games by Brian Cody in 2022, his 24th and last season as manager of the Kilkenny senior hurling team.
The Meath County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Meath GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Meath, as well as for Meath county teams.
Dessie Farrell is an Irish Gaelic football coach and former player. He has been manager of the Dublin county team since 2019.
Colm O'Rourke is a Gaelic football manager, former player, retired secondary school principal, sports broadcaster and columnist. He has been manager of the Meath county team since 2022.
Paul Curran is an Irish former Gaelic footballer who played for the Thomas Davis club and for the Dublin county team. He is currently with Dunshaughlin GAA, winning the Intermediate Championship in 2022 and was previously with the Dublin Under-21 team as part of Jim Gavin's backroom team as well as manager of Ballymun Kickhams and Clann na nGael.
Larry Tompkins is a former Irish Gaelic football manager and player. Throughout his 20-year club career, he played for his adopted club Castlehaven, winning three Munster Club Championship titles during a golden age for the club; he had earlier played for his hometown club Eadestown, and also enjoyed championship successes. At inter-county level, he captained Cork to win the 1990 All-Ireland Championship; he had earlier claimed a first winners' medal as centre-forward on the 1989 All-Ireland-winning team. As well as being a successful captain for club and county, Tompkins was also selected for Leinster and Munster in the Railway Cup. After retirement from playing, he served as a coach and manager, most notably with the Cork senior team.
Brian Mullins was an Irish Gaelic football manager and player. He played football with his local club St Vincent's and was a senior member of the Dublin county team from 1974 until 1985. Mullins later served as manager of both Dublin and Derry. He was regarded as one of Dublin's greatest-ever players. He was a nephew of Bill Casey, who played for Kerry in the 1930s and 1940s.
Billy Sheehan is a Gaelic football manager and former player. He lined out with two county teams: Kerry and Laois. He was manager of the Laois county team from 2021 until 2023.
Brian Stafford is an Irish former Gaelic footballer. He played for the Meath county team in the 1980s and early 1990s under the management of Sean Boylan. For Meath he usually played at full forward. He played club football for Kilmainhamwood. During his playing career he won two Senior All Ireland medals as well as five Leinster Senior Medals and three National League Medals. He won three All Star awards also. In 1987 he was chosen as the Texaco Footballer of the Year. When playing for Meath he was part of a full forward line of Colm O'Rourke, himself and Bernard Flynn.
Tommy Dowd is a former Gaelic footballer who played for the Meath county team.
William Morgan is an Irish former Gaelic football manager who played as goalkeeper at senior level for Cork County Team, and later managed it. His five-decade-long association with the team has led to him being regarded as one of the most iconic figures within Cork football.
John Allen is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a forward in both codes for the Cork senior teams.
Ger Robinson is an Irish football striker, who last played for Kildare County in the League of Ireland. He is also involved in Gaelic football and has managed the Meath under-20 county team.
Colman Corrigan is an Irish former Gaelic footballer, selector and manager. At club level he played with Macroom, divisional side Muskerry and at inter-county level with the Cork senior football team. Corrigan also served in a number of management roles at club and inter-county levels.
Father Patrick Tully was a well-known figure in Meath GAA circles, particularly for his training of Meath Gaelic football teams of 1949, 1954 and 1967 to All Ireland Senior titles. Prior to the 1949 win Meath had never won a Senior All Ireland Title. Fr Tully was educated at Kentstown National School, St Finian's College, Mullingar and St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, where he was ordained a priest in 1942 and subsequently served in a number of parishes in the Meath dioceses when in 1948 he was posted to Moynalty. While based here he was elected County Board Chairman in 1949, a post he held for 20 years and combined this with training the Meath Senior football team.
Stephen Rochford is an Irish Gaelic football coach and former manager and player. He was manager of the senior Mayo county team from 2015 to 2018.

Patrick Flanagan was an Irish Gaelic footballer and hurler who played for club sides Mullingar Shamrocks, The Downs, and St Loman's and at inter-county level as a dual player with the Westmeath senior teams. He usually lined out as a defender. Paddy married Judy Harte in August 1957. They had four children, Fergal, Brian, Kevin and Claire. They have six grandchildren, Paul, Aoife, Ailish, Niamh, Sean and Tara. Paddy was very proud of his children and grandchildren.
Dominic "Dom" Corrigan is a Gaelic footballer and manager. He played for Kinawley and the Fermanagh county team. He later managed the Fermanagh and Sligo teams.
