Allmusic's James Christopher Monger said the album "an elegant collection of polished, faith-based folk-pop that retains Watermark's country roots while introducing a more contemporary, radio-ready production style." [1]

CCM Magazine 's Jackie A. Chapman said "Chris Tomlin has said that Christy Nockels is his favorite vocalist, and it’s not difficult to imagine after listening to Life Light Up. Her voice is as pure as it is powerful, beautifully matching the spirit of each song. Moreover, her convincing performances are boosted by arrangements and production that make them feel like a live event." [2] Chapman wrote the album "takes her work as a worship leader to a brand-new level." [2]

Christian Music Review's Kevin Davis said "this is my favorite female solo album of the year along with Lanae' Hale's Back & Forth." [3]

CMSpin's C.W. Ross said "this is a really well done release that works well in all aspects, but it's the stellar vocals from Christy Nockels that move it up to the next level of goodness." [4]

Jesus Freak Hideout's Roger Gelwicks said the album "is for the most part a rewarding listen and is a welcomed addition to the list of 2009's comeback artists." [5]

Blessed Be Your Name: The Songs of Matt Redman Vol. 1 is an album by worship artist Matt Redman released in 2005. It is a live re-recording of some of Redman's best known songs. It was recorded during the Facedown: Conference for Songwriters which was held 28 to 30 January 2004, at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. Redman recorded enough material at the 2004 conference to release a live album in 2004 (Facedown) that was focused on newly written songs plus a second retrospective album in 2005. One song, "Facedown", appears in both albums, however producer Nathan Nockels recorded numerous overdubs on the Blessed Be Your Name version as he did with numerous other tracks on the album, adding in percussion, string orchestra parts and additional background vocals.

See the Morning is the fourth studio album by Chris Tomlin released on September 26, 2006. The title comes from that idea that "our God is as faithful as the rising sun" and is the "Light of the World". The album was originally released in two versions: one with 11 tracks, the other with 4 alternate versions of his songs and a special behind-the-scenes look at the recording of the album. Since then, another version, the tour edition, has been released, which features the standard version, along with music/live videos, along with a sermon by Louie Giglio titled "How Great Is Our God".
