In 2014 Life Technologies India Pvt Ltd won a Delhi High Court judgement in its favour on the use of the name "Life Technologies", [4] [5] which recorded that the Thermo Fisher acquisition had been acting in a 'false' and 'dishonest' manner. The subsidiary of Life Technologies (India) Private Limited had also won earlier battles at National Arbitration Forum, USA (Case #1363891 and 1363893 of 2011) [6] against Invitrogen Corporation (predecessor company of Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporation's acquisition), regarding ownership of few other brand names and related domains.
