"Lifted" is a song recorded by Canadian country music artist Dallas Smith for his second studio album of the same name (2014). The ballad about young love was written by Jeremy Stover, Jaren Johnston, and Zac Maloy, and is Smith's favourite song on the record. With Side Effects, Smith also became the first Canadian country artist in the Nielsen BDS era to chart four consecutive number one singles from one album, a feat he would then top with his next album, Timeless.
Love and Theft is an American country music duo consisting of vocalists Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Liles. They originally recorded as a trio with vocalist Brian Bandas; after he exited the band, Gunderson and Liles continued as a duo.
