"Like It's Over" is a song by New Zealand-Australian recording artist Stan Walker from his fourth studio album Inventing Myself . It was released as the fourth single from the album and features fellow New Zealand recording artist Ria Hall.
"Like It's Over" was released in New Zealand as a music download by Sony Music Australia on 4 October 2013. [1] The song debuted on the New Zealand Singles Chart at number 23 on 14 October 2013, but fell off the chart the next week. It later re-entered the chart and peaked at number 19 on 4 November 2013. The song spent a total of nine weeks in the top 40 chart, [2] and was eventually certified Gold by Recorded Music NZ for selling 7,500 copies. [3]
The music video for "Like It's Over" was filmed at Pt Erin Pool, Auckland and directed by Shae Sterling. It premiered on Stuff.co.nz on 7 November 2013. [4]

Demetrius C. Savelio, better known by his stage name Savage, is a New Zealand rapper and a former member of hip hop group the Deceptikonz. Savage was the first New Zealand hip hop artist to have a commercial single achieve platinum certification status in the United States. Australian Idol was a televised talent contest, screened on Channel Ten for seven seasons between 2003 and 2009. Several contestants were signed to record labels, while others released their music independently. From the Inside Out is the second studio album by Australian-New Zealand recording artist Stan Walker, released on 20 August 2010 through Sony Music Australia. Walker worked with several record producers and songwriters for the album, including Audius Mtawarira, Israel Cruz, Ryan Tedder, Phil Tan and Stuart Crichton, among others. Musically, the album incorporates synthpop, rock, soul and R&B genres.

Walker worked with several record producers on the album, including Richard Vission, Chico Bennett, Nicholas "RAS" Furlong and Static Revenger, among others. The album featured several guest vocalists, including Jessica Mauboy, Annabel Fay and Walker's mother April, who is featured in a remake of Eva Cassidy's version of "Songbird". Musically, the album features more up-tempo dance-pop and R&B genres than Walker's previous album, From the Inside Out (2010), which included deep and emotional tracks.
