Lil Durk 2X is the second studio album by American rapper Lil Durk. It was released on July 22,2016,by Only the Family and Def Jam Recordings,his final release under the latter label. [1] [2] Following the release of Durk's debut album, Remember My Name (2015),after suffering numerous delays. The production on the album was handled by C-Sick,DJ L,Wheezy,Sonny Digital,ChopSquad DJ,Southside,Young Chop and Zaytoven,among others. The album features guest appearances from Young Thug,Ty Dolla Sign,Yo Gotti and Dej Loaf. The deluxe edition adds guest appearances from Future and Kid Ink.
In 2016,Lil Durk announced that his next project would be his forthcoming mixtape called Lil Durk 2X,and it would be released on May 1,2016. Durk then stated that the mixtape would have to be his second album,and this project has later been slated for a June 24,2016 release. However,the album has been changed and slated for the July 22,2016 release. The OTF frontman moved approximately 7,745 physical copies of his latest project,combined with streaming sales,amounts to a total of 12,259 units.
The album's first official single,"She Just Wanna",featuring Ty Dolla Sign,was released on May 24,2016. [3]

John David Jackson, better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition for his ability upon performing live on DJ Clue's Hot 97 radio show. Jackson then signed to Clue's record label Desert Storm Records, in a joint venture with Elektra Records. Jackson first gained mainstream prominence for his debut studio album Ghetto Fabolous (2001), which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" and "Young'n ." Keenon Dequan Ray Jackson, known professionally as YG, is an American rapper from Compton, California. He began his recording career in 2008, and released his debut mixtapes, 4Fingaz and The Real 4Fingaz both in the following year. The latter gained recognition for it's local hit song "Toot It and Boot It", which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 67 and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He signed with Def Jam Recordings in October 2009, who re-released the song commercially as his debut single the following year. He then signed a joint-venture recording contract with Jeezy's label, CTE World in 2013.
Tyrone William Griffin Jr., known professionally as Ty Dolla Sign, is an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He first gained recognition for his feature on fellow Los Angeles rapper YG's 2010 single "Toot It and Boot It." He signed to Atlantic Records in 2012, and Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment the following year. He has released three studio albums: Free TC (2015), Beach House 3 (2017), and Featuring Ty Dolla Sign (2020), the latter of which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200.
Tavares Lamont Taylor, known professionally as Lil Reese, is an American rapper. Hailing from Chicago's drill scene in the early 2010s, he is known for his collaborations with fellow rappers Chief Keef, Fredo Santana, and Lil Durk. In 2012, Taylor was featured on Chief Keef's single "I Don't Like", which peaked at number 73 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaked at number 20 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and peaked at number 15 on the Hot Rap Songs chart.
