Liliya Dusmetova

Liliya Dusmetova (born 11 February 1981) is an Uzbekistani javelin thrower.

She finished fourth at the 2005 Asian Championships. She also competed at the 2004 Olympic Games without reaching the final.

Her personal best throw is 56.17 metres, achieved in May 2004 in Tashkent.

The competition was originally won by Russia's Liliya Shobukhova in a time of 2:25:56, but she was retrospectively disqualified due to doping violations.

In August 2020, she became a member of the presidium of the Coordination Council that aims to coordinate a transition of political power in Belarus in the context of the 2020 Belarusian protests and the 2020 Belarusian presidential election. Vlasova was detained by Belarusian authorities on 31 August. She was shifted to house arrest on 16 October 2020 and fully released, with all charges dropped, on 24 October 2020.
