Lin Weining (Chinese: 林伟宁; born March 15, 1979, in Changyi County, Shandong) is a Chinese weightlifter. She began with wushu in 1991, and switched to weightlifting in 1992. She joined the provincial weightlifting team four years later.
Halil Mutlu is a former professional Turkish weightlifter with several World and Olympic championship titles. Mutlu is one of the six weightlifters who has achieved three consecutive gold medals at the Olympic Games. His weightlifting career includes five World championships, nine European championships and more than 20 world records at 52 kg (115 lb), 54 kg (119 lb) and 56 kg (123 lb) combined.
Zhang Guozheng is a Chinese weightlifter. Zhang is a World champion, Olympic champion and World Record holder. In January, 1999, Zhang Guozheng was named a member of the National Men's weightlifting team. He ranked fourth at the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000 in the 69 kg class. On October 3, 2002, at the Busan Asian Games, Zhang Guozheng took gold in the 69 kg class with a total score of 345 kilograms. In 2004, Zhang Guozeng won the Athens Olympic Games in the 69 kg class champion. On December 3, 2006, at the 15th Asian Games, Zhang Guozheng totaled 336 kg for a gold medal with a 152 kg snatch and a 184 kg clean and jerk. Zhang retired after 2008 and now serves as the deputy head coach for the men's weightlifting team.
Sibby Flowers is a former Olympic style weightlifter for the United States. Her coach was John Coffee. She competed at the 44 kg then the 46 kg weight classes and holds the American records for the snatch (67.5 kg), clean & jerk (85 kg), and total (147.5 kg). The weight classes were restructured again when women were added to the Olympic program, thus Sibby holds all of her records in perpetuity.
Shi Zhiyong is a Chinese weightlifter. He became Olympic Champion during the 2004 Summer Olympics. He lifted a total of 325 kg, equalising the World record at that time.
Oksana Nikolayevna Slivenko, known professionally as Oxana Slivenko, is a Russian weightlifter.
Cao Lei is a Chinese weightlifter. She was born in north China's Hebei Province and was raised in northeastern Heilongjiang Province.
Georgi Todorov is a retired Bulgarian weightlifter who won the silver medal in the featherweight class at the 1976 Summer Olympics, as well as two world weightlifting championships and three European weightlifting championships. Todorov is an honorary citizen of the city of Varna.

Chen Xiaomin is a female Chinese weightlifter. She began weightlifting in 1989, and joined the provincial team in 1991, and the national team in 1992.
Zeng Guoqiang is a Male Chinese weightlifter. By winning the 52 kg class weightlifting at the 23rd Olympic Games in 1984, he became China's first Olympic gold medalist in weightlifting.
Lü Xiaojun is a Chinese weightlifter. He is a three-time Olympic champion and five-time world champion competing in the 77 kg category until 2018 and 81 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. He is widely considered as one of the greatest weightlifters of all time.
Kuo Hsing-chun is a Taiwanese Amis weightlifter, Olympic gold medalist, five time world champion, two time Universiade champion, Asian Games champion, and five time Asian champion, competing in the 58 kg division until 2018 and 59 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. She has set 11 senior world records in her career.
Shi Zhiyong is a Chinese weightlifter, two time Olympic Champion, three time World Champion and four time Asian Champion competing in the 69 kg category until 2018 and 73 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories.
Chen Jui-lien is a Taiwanese weightlifter, competing in the 63 kg category and representing Chinese Taipei at international competitions. She competed at world championships, most recently at the 1999 World Weightlifting Championships.
Michelle Kettner is a former Australian weightlifter, competing in the 69 kg category and representing Australia at international competitions, having held Commonwealth, Oceania and Australian records.
Katherine Vibert is an American weightlifter, Olympian, World Champion, Pan American champion and Junior World Champion competing in the 69 kg category until 2018 and 71 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. She is a winner of the IWF Female Lifter of the Year for 2019.
Li Wenwen is a Chinese weightlifter competing in the women's +87 kg division. She is a double Olympic champion, the current world champion, as well as the incumbent Asian champion. In 2021, she set the current world records for both clean & jerk and snatch.
Angie Paola Palacios Dájomes is an Ecuadorian weightlifter and two time Youth World Champion competing in the 69 kg category until 2018 and 64 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories.
