Washington's 3rd congressional district encompasses the southernmost portion of Western Washington. It includes the counties of Lewis, Pacific, Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, and Skamania; as well as a small portion of southern Thurston county. The district is represented by Democrat Marie Gluesenkamp Perez.

Larry Lee Belcher was an American educator, county zoning administrator, and Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He represented Kentucky's 49th House district, which includes parts of Bullitt County. Belcher was killed in a car accident in 2008. His wife Linda, a former elementary school principal, replaced Belcher on the 2008 ballot. She was subsequently elected to the Kentucky House of Representatives in 2008 and was reelected in 2010. She lost in 2012, won again in 2014, lost in 2016, and won a special election to return to the legislature in February 2018.
James Richardson Comer Jr. is an American politician from the Commonwealth of Kentucky who represents the state's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. A member of the Republican Party, he has served in the Congress of the United States of America since 2016, during the 114th United States Congress. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives and also served as the Agriculture Commissioner of Kentucky.
Russell Webber is an American politician and a former Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing District 49 from 2013 until 2015 and District 26 from 2015 to 2024.
Bart Rowland is an American politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 21 until 2023. He was first elected in a February 7, 2012 special election to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Representative James Comer to become state agriculture commissioner. Rowland did not seek reelection in 2022.

Osborne is an American politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 59 since the May 24, 2005 special election to fill the vacancy of Representative Tim Feeley. Since January 8, 2019, Osborne has served as Speaker of the Kentucky House of Representatives. He previously served as Acting Speaker of the House and Speaker Pro Tempore.
Adam Koenig is an American politician who represented district 69 in the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2007 to 2023. He was defeated for renomination in 2022 by Steven Doan.

Carlos Brogdon Embry Jr. was an American politician and a Republican member of the Kentucky Senate representing District 6 from January 1, 2015, until September 26, 2022, when he resigned due to cancer. He previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives starting on January 1, 2003, and leaving office on January 1, 2015, to serve in the Kentucky Senate. Embry was a mayor of Beaver Dam, Kentucky from 1970 until 1973. Embry died three days after his resignation from the senate for health reasons at a hospice in Bowling Green, at the age of 81.
Charles W. Miller is an American politician and a Democratic member of the Kentucky House of Representatives representing District 28 from January 1998 to January 2023. He was first elected in a January 1998 special election following the resignation of incumbent Republican representative Bill Lile. He was defeated for reelection in 2022 by Republican Jared Bauman.
