Liphook and Ripsley Cricket Club is a cricket club in England for adults and juniors, and is a member of the Southern Premier Cricket League.

The Ripsley House ground is in West Sussex, near the Forest Mere health resort, although Liphook village is actually in Hampshire. [1]

New Zealand and Wellington Firebirds wicket keeper Chris Nevin played for four seasons at the club in the late 1990s. Mayu Pasupati is another Firebird player to represent the club. For the 2014 season, Harry Munt was appointed 1st team captain. He has remained as captain until the present day.

The club reached the National Village Cup final in 2018, but were beaten at Lord's by Folkton and Flixton by 72 runs. [2] [3]

It is in the civil parish of Bramshott and Liphook, which includes Bramshott, Griggs Green, Conford, Passfield, Hammer Bottom, Ludshott Common and Waggoners Wells, and has an area of 6,540 acres (2,650 ha) and a population of 8,491 in 2011.

Aaron James Finch is a former Australian international cricketer who served as the captain of the Australian cricket team in ODI and T20I cricket. The Worcestershire Women's cricket team is the women's representative cricket team for the English historic county of Worcestershire. In May 2022, Pooran was named as the captain of the West Indies team for limited overs cricket. On November 2022, he stepped down as the limited overs captain of the West Indies team.

Hayley Kristen Matthews is a Barbadian sportswoman. She plays international cricket for the West Indies as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm off break. She plays domestic cricket for Barbados, Barbados Royals and Melbourne Renegades, and has previously played for Tasmania, Lancashire Thunder, Southern Vipers, Loughborough Lightning, Velocity and Hobart Hurricanes. She has also represented Barbados in the javelin throw at several international track and field competitions. Alex Tyson Carey is an Australian international cricketer. Formerly an Australian rules footballer, he is currently a wicket-keeper who plays for the Australian national team in test match and one day formats. In domestic cricket, he plays for South Australia and Adelaide Strikers. He was the captain of the Greater Western Sydney Giants in 2010, but when they joined the Australian Football League in 2012, he was left out of the squad and returned to his home state of South Australia, where he began to play domestic cricket.

Ameliaranne Ekenasio, previously known as Ameliaranne Wells, is a New Zealand netball international. In 2010 and 2011, Wells represented Australia at under-19 and under-21 levels. In 2014 she switched allegiances to New Zealand. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and was a prominent member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019 Netball World Cup. She captained New Zealand when they won the 2021 Constellation Cup.

Gabrielle Simpson, also known as Gabi Simpson, is an Australia netball international. Simpson was vice-captain of the Australia team that won the silver medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Simpson was also a member of the Queensland Firebirds teams that won the 2015 and 2016 ANZ Championships. Since 2017, Simpson has captained Firebirds in Suncorp Super Netball. In 2017 she received the Liz Ellis Diamond award. She also sits on the board of the Australian Netball Players’ Association.
