Lisa Maria Ellram is the James Evans Rees Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain at the Farmer School of Business.

Early life and education

Ellram grew up in Minnesota [1] and earned her BSB degree in accounting and MBA from the University of Minnesota. She then traveled to Ohio to earn her Master's degree (logistics) and PhD (management) from Ohio State University. [2] While earning her doctorate, she worked for the Pillsbury Company as an accountant. [3]

Career

Upon earning her PhD, Ellram joined the faculty department of purchasing, logistics and operations at Arizona State University's (ASU) W. P. Carey School of Business. [4] During her tenure at ASU, Ellram was recognized as one of 30 "Practitioner Pros to Know" in a list published by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for having "a deep breadth of knowledge about the industry and are forward-thinking in their approach to the evolving supply chain network." [5] She was also appointed to John and Barbara Bebbling Professor of Business until her departure in 2006, [6] when she left ASU to accept a chair appointment at Colorado State University's department of management. [7]

Ellram's stay in Colorado was short as she quickly accepted a James Evans Rees Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain position at the Farmer School of Business in 2008. [2] She became a co-editor of the Journal of Supply Chain Management, during which it was added to the Thomson Reuters ISI Web of Knowledge. [8] By 2018, Ellram became first Farmer School faculty member to be honored by the University as a Distinguished Scholar [9] and the first to be named a University Distinguished Professor. [10]

Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship consistently ranks in the Top 10 and, in 2010, was ranked "Top 5 for Entrepreneurs" by Fortune (magazine). The school's undergraduate business program ranks #71 in the US according to U.S. News & World Report. In 2019, four of the school's graduate programs were internationally ranked, including Entrepreneurship, International Business, Supply Chain Management, and Accounting.

Jay S. Golden is an American academic selected by the Kansas Board of Regents to become the 14th president of Wichita State University. He assumed the presidency on January 2, 2020. He suddenly resigned on September 25, 2020. It is speculated that his resignation was due to pressure from WSU's donors after not featuring a speech from Ivanka Trump during WSU Tech's commencement on June 5, 2020.

Yano is Professor and Chair at Haas School of Business's Operations and Information Technology Management Group, and Professor and former Head of Department of Industrial Engineering & Operations Research, both at University of California, Berkeley. Erika Tatiana Camacho was born September 3, 1974 in Guadalajara, Mexico. She is a mathematical biologist and associate professor of applied mathematics at Arizona State University. She was taught and mentored in high school by Jaime Escalante, who was the subject of the movie Stand and Deliver.

David Simchi-Levi is an American academic working as a Professor of Engineering Systems at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also the founder or co-founder of several companies. Simchi-Levi's research focuses on supply chain, revenue management, and business analytics.

Kimberly A. With is an American ecologist. She is a Full Professor in the Division of Biology at Kansas State University.
