  9. Bodey received a free kick just before the siren and took her kick from about 45 metres on a tough angle. The ball fell short, and Melbourne would win by two points. The loss meant Brisbane would concede finishing the season as minor premiers to Adelaide.
  10. Brisbane were awarded a free kick for holding the ball seconds before the final siren, with Greta Bodey to take the kick from roughly 40 metres out on a slight angle. The ball was touched in the goal square by a Melbourne player a few meters short of the goal line and went through for only one point, giving the win to Melbourne.
  11. Kearney was paid a free kick in the dying seconds of the game 60 meters out from goal, but her kick after the siren fell well short.
