Prince Karim Al-Husseini, known as the Aga Khan IV since the death of his grandfather in 1957, is the 49th and current imam of Nizari Isma'ilis. He has held the position of Imam and the title of Aga Khan since 11 July 1957 when, at the age of 20, he succeeded his grandfather, Aga Khan III. The Aga Khan claims direct lineal descent from the Islamic prophet Muhammad through Muhammad's cousin and son-in-law, Ali, who is considered an Imam by Nizari Isma'ilis, and Ali's wife Fatima, Muhammad's daughter from his first marriage. Aga Khan IV is also known by the religious title Mawlānā Hazar Imam by his Isma'ili followers.

Naeem ul Haque was a Pakistani politician who was the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan on Political Affairs. He was also co-founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and served as its Central Information Secretary and President of PTI Sindh. He died on 15 February 2020 after battling the disease for 2 years.

It is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi under 7th Sky Entertainment. It stars Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor in their seventh project together. The supporting cast include Ali Abbas, Sania Saeed, Rehan Sheikh, Ismat Zaidi and Iffat Rahim. Despite a typical love story, its first episode was regarded as the highest rated first episode of any Pakistani series.
