The Algerian Cup also known the Republic Cup, is a football competition in Algeria, pitting regional teams against each other. It was established in October 1962, three months after independence, and has been played yearly since then apart from 1990 and 1993.
The Algerian Ligue 2, also called Ligue 2, formerly known as Ligue Professionnelle 2 and Championnat National 2, is the second highest division overall in the Algerian football league system. Administered by the Ligue Nationale du Football Amateur, it is contested by 32 clubs, divided into two groups with the two champions of each group promoted to Ligue Professionnelle 1 and the bottom 3 teams of each group relegated to the Inter-Régions Division. It was professional from 2010 to 2020.
The 2008–09 Algerian Cup was the 45th edition of the Algerian Cup. CR Belouizdad won the Cup by defeating CA Bordj Bou Arreridj 2–1 on penalties in the final, after the game ended 0–0. It was the sixth time that CR Belouizdad won the trophy.

Nedjm Chabab Magra, known as NC Magra or NCM for short, is an Algerian football club based in the city of Magra in the M'Sila Province. The club was founded in 1998 and its colours are Blue and white. Their home stadium, Boucheligue Brothers Stadium, has a capacity of 5,000 spectators.
