The 1975 Algerian Cup Final was the 13th final of the Algerian Cup. The final took place on June 19, 1975, at July 5 Stadium in Algiers. MC Oran beat MO Constantine 2–0 to win their first Algerian Cup. [1]

The 2009 African U-17 Championship was a football competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). The tournament took place in Algeria. The top four teams qualified for the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Nigeria, automatically qualified as the hosts, didn't qualify for the Finals, although if they qualified for the Finals and went on to reach the semi-finals, then the teams who finished third in their respective groups would have met in a playoff for the fourth and final place in the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

The 2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations known as 2023 U17 AFCON for short and/or the TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations for sponsorship purposes, will be the 15th edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 17 and below. In May 2021, it was decided that the tournament would be hosted by Algeria. This would have been the second edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations to have expanded to twelve teams instead of eight.
