This is a list of Catholicos Patriarchs of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics. [1] The Armenian Catholic Patriarchate of Cilicia was established in 1740 following a schism within the Armenian Patriarchate based in Cilicia and was recognized by the Pope on 26 November 1742. The Catholicos-Patriarch is the head of the Armenian Catholic Church, one of the Eastern Catholic Churches in full communion with the Holy See and therefore part of the broader Catholic Church.

The Patriarchate of Cilicia is an ecclesiastical jurisdiction and the only patriarchate of the Armenian Catholic Church of the Catholic Church. The territorial jurisdiction of the Patriarch of Cilicia is the Archeparchy of Beirut, over which the Patriarch of Cilicia holds ordinary authority. The St. Elie and St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Catholic Cathedral in Beirut, Lebanon, is the cathedra of the Patriarchate. The Patriarchate is headed by Patriarch Raphaël Bedros XXI Minassian elected in September 2021.

Hagop Petros II Hovsepian was born in Aleppo, Syria. He, after living a religious life in St. Antoine's convent at Kadicha for ten years, returned to his birthplace and Mgr. Ardzivian of Aleppo ordained him priest in 1720.

Basile Petros IV Avkadian was an Armenian Catholic Patriarch from Aleppo, Syria from 1780 until 1788. He started as part of the St. Antonin Order. He served the three previous Armenian Catholic patriarchs Abraham Petros I Ardzivian, Jacob Petros II Hovsepian and Michael Petros III Kasparian for forty years before being elected patriarch in 1780. It was said of him that "[H]e never took off his monachal garment when he was bishop and Catholicos".

Bedros is a name in Eastern Armenian meaning "rock", and is thus a form of the name Peter. Bedrosian, meaning "son of Bedros/ Petros" is also a common Armenian name.

Hovhannes Bedros XVIII Kasparian, I.P.C.B. was the Armenian Catholic Catholicos-Patriarch of Cilicia from 1982-98 when he retired.

Ignatius Bedros XVI Batanian was Armenian Catholic Catholicos-Patriarch of Cilicia from 1962 until his resignation in 1976. His election came as replacement of cardinal patriarch Gregory-Petros XV Agagianian, who had been assigned responsibilities with the Roman Catholic Church at the Vatican.

Hemaiag Bedros XVII Ghedighian was the Armenian Catholic Catholicos-Patriarch of Cilicia from July 1976 until May 1982, when he resigned because of legal age and was succeeded by Patriarch Hovhannes Bedros XVIII Kasparian. He died in 1998 at the age of 93.

Krikor Bedros XX Gabroyan, I.P.C.B. also known in English as Gregory Peter XX Gabroyan and in French as Grégoire Pierre XX Ghabroyan was the Catholicos-Patriarch of Cilicia of the Armenian Catholic Church after his election on 24 July 2015 and the necessary concession of the ecclesiastical full communion by Pope Francis one day later. He was enthroned on 9 August 2015.

He previously served as ordinary of the Ordinariate for Catholics of Armenian Rite in Eastern Europe, which covers Armenia, Georgia, Russia, and Ukraine, from 24 June 2011 to 23 September 2021 and as a Patriarchal Exarch of the Armenian Catholic Patriarchal Exarchate of Jerusalem and Amman from 26 September 2005 to 24 June 2011.
