Indonesia participated in the 2005 Southeast Asian Games held in multiple venues in the Philippines from November 27, 2005 to December 5, 2005. The chief of mission to the games was Joko Pramono.
Liliyana Natsir is an Indonesian former badminton player who specialized in doubles. She is one of the standout front court player, with dexterousness and skill in controlling and executing the shuttlecock. Natsir has tremendous record over more than two decade by winning a gold and a silver from the Olympic Games, and four gold medals at the BWF World Championships. Her achievements are recognized worldwide, and was inducted in the BWF Hall of Fame in 2022.
Apriyani Rahayu is an Indonesian badminton player specializing in doubles. She and Greysia Polii won the gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics champions in the women's doubles. She won gold at the 2019 SEA Games, and two bronze medals at the World Championships in 2018 and 2019. Rahayu also won bronze medals at the 2018 Asian Games in the women's team and doubles with her former partner Polii.
Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo is an Indonesian professional badminton player. He was a World junior silver medalist in 2016 and Asian Championships bronze medalist in 2022. Dwi Wardoyo was also part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup. He is the older brother of Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo.
Ikhsan Leonardo Imanuel Rumbay is an Indonesian badminton player, who also plays for the PB Djarum club in national events. He also attended Special Sports School Ragunan.
Ade Candra Rachmawan is an Indonesian beach volleyball player from Yogyakarta. Rachmawan who won the silver medal at the 2011 SEA Games with partner Dian Putra Sentosa. In a team with Koko Prasetyo Darkuncoro, they won the silver medal at the 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games. He and Darkuncoro also competed in the 2014 Asian Games. They finished in the fourth position after they lost to a Chinese pair in the bronze medal match. Rachmawan and Darkuncoro then claimed the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Beach Games in Phuket, Thailand.
Daniel Marthin is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum club since 2015. He was a champion at the 2019 Asian and World Junior Championships in the boys' doubles event. Marthin was part of Indonesia winning team at the 2020 Thomas Cup.
Indah Cahya Sari Jamil is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with PB Djarum since 2014. She was the mixed doubles champion at the 2018 World and 2019 Asian Junior Championships.
Adnan Maulana is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Jaya Raya Jakarta club. He won a bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the 2021 SEA Games partnered with Mychelle Crhystine Bandaso.
Yeremia Erich Yotje Yacob Rambitan is an Indonesian badminton player, who also plays for Exist Jakarta in the national event. He won the gold medals at the 2022 Asian Championships and 2023 SEA Games. In his young age, Rambitan won the mixed doubles Junior National Championships title in 2016, and the boys' doubles bronze medal at the World Junior Championships in 2017.
Mutiara Rahma Putri is an Indonesian rower. She competed in the women's lightweight double sculls event at the 2020 Summer Olympics at the age of 17. She won the bronze medal in the lightweight double sculls at the 2022 Asian Games. In the SEA Games, Putri has collected 2 silver in 2021 and a bronze in 2019.
Pramudya Kusumawardana Riyanto is an Indonesian-Australian badminton player. He was a men's doubles gold medalists at the 2022 Asian Championships and 2023 SEA Games. He was part of the Indonesian junior team that won the bronze medals at the 2018 Asian and World Junior Championships, and also the boys' doubles bronze in the 2018 Asian Junior Championships.
Veddriq Leonardo is an Indonesian competition climber who specializes in competition speed climbing. He has held the world record for the discipline for about a year twice, first after setting it en route to winning the men's speed climbing event at the 2021 IFSC Climbing World Cup in Salt Lake City, and again at the 2023 IFSC Climbing World Cup in Seoul. He is the current Olympic champion, having won speed climbing in 2024, thus becoming the first Indonesian non-badminton Olympic gold medalist.
Dheva Anrimusthi is an Indonesian para-badminton player. He won the silver and bronze medal in the men's singles SU5 event of the 2020 and 2024 Summer Paralympics respectively.
Rachel Allessya Rose is an Indonesian badminton player. She was part of Indonesia squad that won a bronze medal in the 2022 World Junior Championships and a silver medal in the girls' doubles event.
Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Djarum Badminton Club. She was invited to be part of Indonesia's national badminton team in 2020.
Jafar Hidayatullah is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with Rajawali badminton club. He is the brother of fellow badminton athlete, Febi Setianingrum.
Qonitah Ikhtiar Syakuroh is an Indonesian para-badminton player in the SL3 classification, she made her international debut at the 2022 ASEAN Para Games held in Surakarta, when she won a gold medal in women's doubles SL3–SU5 with Warining Rahayu. She won the women's singles gold medal and a bronze in women's doubles in the 2023 ASEAN Para Games held in Cambodia.
