List of Biak sub-tribes

The following is a list of Biak sub-tribes. Following the tradition of manamakeri , the Biak people are known as skilled sailors who originate from the Biak Islands in the northern part of Cenderawasih Bay. They have migrated to the north coast of Papua, including Mamberamo Raya, Waropen, Wondama, Manokwari, Raja Ampat Islands, even to Mapia Atoll in the Pacific Ocean from the 15th century. ^{[1] [2]}
