Brassic is a British comedy-drama series, created by Joe Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst. [1] It premiered on Sky One in the United Kingdom on 22 August 2019. It follows the lives of Vinnie and his five friends as they live their lives in their northern town of Hawley. The working-class group commit various crimes to keep money in their pockets, but as they get older some of them start to wonder if there's more to life away from the town. [2]
The first series consisted of six episodes, which concluded on 19 September 2019. It was recommissioned for a second series, [3] [4] which was released entirely on 7 May 2020, once again consisting of six episodes. The sixth series premiered on 26 September 2024.

Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian mockumentary television sitcom created by Mike Clattenburg that began airing in 2001 as a continuation of his 1999 film bearing the same name. The show follows the misadventures of a group of trailer park residents, including two lead characters in and out of prison, living in the fictional "Sunnyvale Trailer Park" in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. The series premiered on Showcase on April 20, 2001, and originally ran for seven seasons before concluding with a one-hour special on December 7, 2008. The series spawned four films: The Movie, released on October 6, 2006; Countdown to Liquor Day, released on September 25, 2009; Don't Legalize It, released on April 18, 2014; and Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story was released in December 2024.
Joseph William Gilgun is an English actor and producer known for several roles, including that of Vinnie O'Neill in the Sky Max series Brassic, which he also co-created, Marcus in Hollyoaks, Eli Dingle in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale, Jamie Armstrong in the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street, Woody in the film This Is England (2006) and its subsequent spin-off series, and Rudy Wade in E4's Misfits. From 2016 to 2019, he starred in the AMC television adaptation of the Vertigo comic Preacher as the Irish vampire Cassidy.
Michelle Keegan is an English actress. She is known for her roles as Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street (2008–2014) and Georgie Lane in the BBC military drama Our Girl (2016–2020). Keegan has also starred as Tina Moore in the biopic Tina and Bobby (2017), Erin Croft in Sky Max comedy Brassic (2019–present), Kate Thorne in BBC period drama Ten Pound Poms (2023–present) and Maya Stern in Netflix thriller Fool Me Once (2024).
The Inbetweeners is a British coming-of-age television teen sitcom, which originally aired on E4 from 2008 to 2010 and was created and written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris. The series follows the misadventures of suburban teenager William McKenzie and his friends Simon Cooper, Neil Sutherland and Jay Cartwright at the fictional Rudge Park Comprehensive. The programme involves situations of school life, uncaring school staff, friendship, male bonding, lad culture and adolescent sexuality. Joanna Higson is an English actress. She graduated from Salford University with a First Class Honours degree in Media and Performance in 2006. She joined the cast of Shameless in series 6, playing the role of "Maxine". She appeared in the first series of Sky One and later Sky Max’s production “Brassic” where she played a minor role. She reprised the role playing a more prominent part as manager of a club with Erin and later part of the main group.

Our Girl is a British television military drama series written and created by Tony Grounds. Its feature-length television pilot first broadcast on BBC One on 24 March 2013 and initially starred Lacey Turner as Molly Dawes, a young working-class woman, who joins the British Army after deciding her life is going down the drain. Following the feature-length pilot episode, a continuation show was commissioned, with Turner reprising her role for the first series, which commenced broadcast on 21 September 2014.

Tom Maden is an American actor, who is perhaps best known for his recurring role as Jake Fitzgerald in the MTV anthology slasher series Scream, from 2015 to 2016. Prior to acting, Maden was also a participant in the third season of the Discovery Kids reality series Endurance (2004–2005). Other prominent credits in Maden's career include main roles in the web series Lifeline (2017) and All Night (2018), as well as numerous recurring roles in television series, such as Parenthood (2011), Make It or Break It (2012), and Famous in Love (2017–2018). Derry Girls is a British period teen sitcom set in Northern Ireland, created and written by Lisa McGee, that premiered on 4 January 2018 on Channel 4 and ran for three series. The channel's most successful comedy since Father Ted, the series was inspired by McGee's own experiences growing up in Derry, Northern Ireland, in the 1990s, during the final years of the Troubles. It stars Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Louisa Harland, Nicola Coughlan, Jamie-Lee O'Donnell, and Dylan Llewellyn as five teenagers living in mid-1990s Derry while attending Our Lady Immaculate College, a fictional girls' Catholic secondary school based on the real-life Thornhill College, where McGee herself studied. Throughout the series, the directing credits rotated between Daniel O'Hara and Jon Wright: O'Hara directed the first three episodes whereas Wright directed the second half. The second series consisted of six episodes, which were broadcast on a weekly schedule, though all episodes were prematurely released entirely on the premiere date through the Sky television streaming service. The series concluded on 11 June 2020.
