The currently in service sections of this line are from Ring Road Station-Adly Mansour Station and from Cairo University Station-Adly Mansour Station.
This line is till under study, construction of the first phase (El Malek El Saleh - Giza) expected to start in early 2016 according to NAT.
There are also plans for other lines including a circular line (Line 5) connecting Lines 1,2,3 and 4 along with the final line (Line 6) which will run from Shubra up-north until the heart of Maadi and Helwan districts in the south through running from Ataba Station (Interchange with both Line 2 and Line 3) through El Kalaa street شارع القلعة in bored tunnels to Salah Eldin Citadel Station (Interchange with Line 4) and moving on from there to both districts via bored tunnels using the existing route El-Mahager Railway as a guide through both Maadi and Helwan.
Both these lines will not take place before finishing both Line 3 and Line 4.

The Cairo Metro is a rapid transit system in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It was the first of the three full-fledged metro systems in Africa and the first in the Middle East to be constructed. It was opened in 1987 as Line 1 from Helwan to Ramses Square with a length of 29 kilometres (18.0 mi). As of 2013, the metro carried nearly 4 million passengers per day. As of 15 May 2024, the Cairo Metro has 84 stations of which 5 are transfer stations, with a total length of 106.8 kilometres (66.4 mi). The system consists of three operational lines numbered 1 to 3.

The Ahmad al-Badawi Mosque, is a mosque and shrine complex in Tanta, Egypt. The name of this mosque is derived from the Sufi mystic Ahmad al-Badawi, the founder of the Badawiyya Sufi order, who is buried in the shrine of the building. The mosque is also the largest and most-visited mosque in Tanta.
Ashour Ben Khayal, sometimes romanised Ben Hayal, is a Libyan diplomat and politician who was born in the Cyrenaican city of Derna in September 1939. He was named Foreign Minister on 22 November 2011 by Abdurrahim El-Keib in a surprise move, as the position was originally reported to be filled by Libya's deputy ambassador to United Nations Ibrahim Dabbashi. He was described as little-known prior to his appointment.
Mau Junction is a junction station located in the city of Mau in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It falls on Prayagraj–Mau–Gorakhpur main line. A devloping station of the region, it is well connected to important cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Surat, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow, Aligarh, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, etc.
The Sudanese Republican Guard is a military unit of the Sudanese Armed Forces responsible for protecting the President of Sudan. It exists as a presidential security unit, which is led by Major General Khalid Hamad. The unit guards the Presidential Palace, and performs honor parades for visiting dignitaries. Members of the honour guard wear the traditional Islamic Jellabiya and a Turban as part of their full dress uniform.
Operation Fath 1, or Operation Wahdat, was a joint Iranian and Iraqi Kurdish special operation conducted by Iran's IRGC special forces and Iraqi Kurdish partisans of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) in 11 and 12 October 1986 in Kirkuk area of northern Iraq during the Iran–Iraq War. The Iranian and Kurdish forces infiltrated into the area and successfully attacked economic and military targets with minimal losses of their own.

The Book "Anthology of the Writers of Tangier" lists Yasser Harrak among the city's most notable. In 2020, The website specializing in analytics for the education sector Edurank ranked Yasser Harrak 83 among 100 most notable alumni of Concordia University (Canada). In 2016, Yasser Harrak appeared in the Oximity News list of selected writers joining some of the world's most respected authors and human rights activists like Noam Chomsky and Robert Reich. He wrote and edited articles on Middle Eastern culture, security issues and current affairs for Oximity until its acquisition by reading subscription service Scribd in November 2016. The author is also listed as top contributor to Unpublished Ottawa, Canada's only social media website dedicated to current affairs. In a study published by the Center of Studies for Arab Unity, Dr. Abdelatif Hannachi cited Harrak'a article "Salafi Revisionism" in his research on Islamic movements in the Arab world. The Moroccan Al Aan weekly magazine qualified Harrak's analysis of Shi'ism in the country as most scientific and elaborate after his interview with journalist Aziz El Hor. In his study of Sunni extremism, Iraqi leftist journalist Saeb Khalil cited Harrak's work on Shiaphobia and its sociopolitical manifestations in the Arab world. In an article on Moroccan popular culture, philanthropist Ali Issa Alwabari, from the International Center for Research and Studies, relied heavily on Harrak's essay regarding the role of Fatima Zahra in the Moroccan popular culture.

Mirza Soleyman Khan Shirazi, known as Roknolmolk, (1839–1914) was a poet and viceroy of Isfahan during the Qajar period. He was also the secretary of the governor of Fars Province. Roknolmolk is also the founder of the mosque named after him and Mohammad Jafar Abadei Tekyeh, both sites located in Isfahan.
Abdelmegid Moustafa Farrag عبد المجيد مصطفى فراج was a Social Studies Educator and a Statistics and Demography Studies authority who also served as Professor at the Cairo Faculty of Commerce and Cairo Faculty of Economics and Political Science in Egypt and later as the Dean of the Institute of Statistical Studies and Research in Cairo, Egypt.
Imam Khomeini Streetبزرگراه دو طبقه امام خمینی (ره) اصفهان is one of the most famous streets in the 12th district of Isfahan Province, Iran. In fact, the concrete flyover bridge that was built over it and its importance, made this street eminent and hard to ignore. It is also the way between Kharrazi Expressway and Isfahan-Tehran freeway.
Essam Youssef is an Egyptian novelist and TV host. Born in Cairo in 1965, Essam Youssef graduated from Port Said International School in Zamalek. Unleashing a career in literature from an early age, he obtained his BA from the English Department of Language and Literature, Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. His early found passion in raising awareness against drug abuse led him to adopt the practice of helping youth overcome their dependence on illegal substance. This has led him to acquire a duly given position as a member of Mentor Arabia since 2009. Taking his message to heart, Essam Youssef visited more than 2000 schools, universities and culture centers all over Egypt since 2007. He set out to many of Egypt's governorates such as Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Ismailia, Menoufia, Dakahlia, El Beheira, El Gharbia, Beni Suef, El Minya, Assuit, Red Sea and Luxor, and gave talks to over 200 thousand students on drug addiction.
Ahmed Menour is an Algerian writer. He was born in El Ançor in the outskirts of Oran. He taught at the University of Algiers for many years. He writes both fiction for both adults and young readers.
