Canterbury Bankstown FC is an Australian association football club based in Bankstown, Sydney. The club was formed in 1886 originally as Canterbury FC. [1] They became an inaugural member of the NSW Federation of Soccer Clubs when it broke away from the New South Wales Soccer Football Association and played in its first league season in 1957. The club won the inaugural Federation Cup and were premiers of the regular season, losing the grand final to Auburn. The club predominantly played in the top tier of soccer in Australia until the formation of the National Soccer League in 1977 where it would play in NSW First Division instead.
The club would play at national level on one occasion in 1986.
In total, Canterbury Bankstown have won two NSW Tier 1 premierships (1957 and 1985) and two championships (1958 and 1960). It has also won two Waratah Cups in 1957 and 1958) as well as two other lower division honours.

Sydney United 58 Football Club is a semi-professional soccer club and current NSW NPL Champions based in Edensor Park, Sydney, New South Wales Australia. The club was formed as Sydney Croatia in 1958, by Croatian Australians in the area, but it was renamed in 1993 as Sydney United after having the name Sydney CSC for a season.
The National Premier Leagues NSW is a semi-professional soccer competition in New South Wales, Australia. The competition is conducted by Football NSW, the organising body in New South Wales. Maccabi Hakoah Sydney City East FC, commonly known as Maccabi Hakoah, is an Australian semi-professional soccer club based in Sydney, New South Wales. The club was formed in 1939 as Sydney Hakoah by members of Sydney's Jewish community. They played between 1977 and 1986 in the National Soccer League as Eastern Suburbs (1977–1979) and Sydney City (1979–1987). The Waratah Cup is a knockout cup competition in New South Wales, run by the governing body of football in NSW, Football NSW. Teams competing in the Waratah Cup come from the National Premier Leagues NSW, NSW League One, NSW League Two, and numerous other semi professional & amateur association clubs within New South Wales. The Cup is held during the NPL NSW seasons. Since 2014 preliminary rounds of the Waratah Cup have been used to determine the NSW entrants to the national FFA Cup competition, now known as the Australia Cup.
The National Premier Leagues (NPL) is a men's national association football competition in Australia which acts as the second tier of the sport in the country below the A-League. The NPL consists of the highest level state league in each state-based federation within Australia. In total the NPL is contested by clubs from eight divisions; these are ACT, NSW, Northern NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and Western Australia. The NPL is overseen by Football Australia, in partnership with participating state-based member federations.
The Football NSW 2014 season was the second season under the new competition format for state-level football (soccer) in New South Wales. The competition consisted of four divisions across the State of New South Wales. The overall premier for the new structure qualified for the National Premier Leagues finals series, competing with the other state federation champions in a final knockout tournament to decide the National Premier Leagues Champion for 2014.

Fairfield Bulls Football Club is an Australian amateur football club based in Fairfield, New South Wales. The club is currently playing in the Southern Districts Football Association. Fairfield Bulls have previously been known as the Bonnyrigg Eagles and Nineveh Eagles Soccer Team.
The 1957 NSW Federation of Soccer Clubs season was the inaugural season of football in New South Wales under the administration of the federation since its breakaway from the NSW Soccer Football Association in January 1957. The season officially kicked off with the William Kennard Cup, a pre-season tournament held in Lidcombe under lights, a novelty for the time. This was the precursor to the highly successful Ampol Cup which sponsored similar cups in other federations throughout Australia. The home and away league season began in April with ten teams until Gladesville-Ryde joined after five rounds. The campaign was then rescheduled to accommodate and it also consisted of a finals series to decide the Division One champions of New South Wales. The season also held the first ever competition of the newly created Federation Cup.
