He later served as the color commentator for the Colorado Avalanche from their inaugural 1995–96 season until his death.

NHL Live is a television show on NBC Sports Network. The program airs after every National Hockey League game the network televises as part of NHL on NBC. The postgame show was initially known as Hockey Central, airing from their Stamford, Connecticut studios. With the new contract with NBC beginning in the 2011–12 season, the new pregame show is called NHL Live and the new postgame show is called NHL Overtime, which show the NHL on NBC studio host and analysts, from the NBC and Comcast merger.

John Kelly is a hockey play-by-play announcer for the St. Louis Blues. He is the son of the late Dan Kelly. Kelly joined his father in the broadcast booth, for a Blues game against the Philadelphia Flyers on November 17, 1988, in which his Blues team defeated the Flyers for the first time in Philadelphia since January 6, 1972 before his dad died on February 10, 1989. He joined the Blues' broadcast team for the 1989–90 NHL season and remained on the job until summer 1992, when he joined the then-fledgling Tampa Bay Lightning.

<i>NHL on ESPN</i> American live sports television series

The broadcasts of National Hockey League (NHL) games produced by ESPN have been shown on its various platforms in the United States, including ESPN itself, ABC, ESPN+, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, and Hulu. Since 2021, games have been broadcast under the ESPN Hockey Night branding, while those on ESPN+ have used the ESPN+ Hockey Night branding.

From 2006 to 2008, NBC's studio show was originally broadcast out of the rink at New York's Rockefeller Center, at the foot of NBC's offices during January and February. This allowed the on-air talent, including commentators for NHL on NBC, and their guests to demonstrate plays and hockey skills. From April onwards, and during inclement weather, the studio show moved to Studio 8G inside the GE Building, where NBC produces its Football Night in America program. For the Stanley Cup Finals, the show was usually broadcast on location.

SportsNet Pittsburgh is an American regional sports network serving Greater Pittsburgh and western Pennsylvania. Jointly owned by Fenway Sports Group and Robert Nutting via the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pittsburgh Pirates, respectively. It serves as the main broadcaster of both teams. Michael Haynes is an American sports broadcaster. Until 2018, he was the play-by-play TV broadcaster for the Colorado Avalanche ice hockey team with Altitude Sports and Entertainment. He also called games for the Colorado Mammoth and the Colorado Rapids, as well as hosting Altitude's One-on-One show. Haynes has twice been honored as Denver's Best Sportscaster by Westword magazine. Mike has a wife, Victoria, and two children, daughter Kiara and son Kian. They currently reside in Littleton, Colorado. He also has 5 brothers and sisters. One of them Carl Haynes resides in Seattle, Washington with his children Maya and Carl and his wife Susan.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Cody McLeod</span> Canadian ice hockey winger (born 1984)

Wesley Cody McLeod is a Canadian former professional ice hockey winger who is the assistant director of player development coach for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). As an undrafted player, McLeod played for the Colorado Avalanche, Nashville Predators, and New York Rangers. He was best known for his role similar to that of an enforcer.

Robert Wischusen is an American sports commentator who is currently a hockey, college football and basketball voice for ESPN and the radio voice announcer for the New York Jets on WAXQ-FM.

Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the network broadcast regional coverage of sports events throughout the Rocky Mountain region, mainly focusing on professional sports teams based in the Denver metropolitan area, Utah and Nevada.

The NHL on TNT is an American presentation of National Hockey League (NHL) games produced by TNT Sports, and televised on TNT and streamed on Max in the United States.

NBC Sports's deal with the National Hockey League for U.S. television rights ran through the 2020–21 season, and was replaced in 2021–22 by seven-year agreements with ESPN and TNT to split coverage.
