This is a list of Vegas Golden Knights broadcasters from the National Hockey League.

Television

As of the 2023–24 NHL season, Scripps Sports holds local market rights to the Golden Knights. In the Las Vegas market, games will air on KMCC, with further affiliates planned for outlying areas of the team's designated market, which includes Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, and parts of Arizona and California. [1] [2] Dave Goucher and Shane Hnidy are the Golden Knights' commentators. [1]

Prior to the 202324 NHL season, AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain was the regional television rightsholder for all Golden Knights games not broadcast nationally by NBCSN, NBC, ESPN, ABC, or TNT (including its 2023 Stanley Cup Championship appearance). [2] [3] [4] Golden Knights games on AT&T SportsNet were called by former Boston Bruins radio announcer Dave Goucher on play-by-play, and Shane Hnidy, who previously worked color for the Winnipeg Jets on TSN. [5]

KTNV-TV [6] broadcasts games only during the preseason, as well as if the games are part of ABC's national contract with the NHL.

Radio

The team has a three-year radio deal with Lotus Broadcasting. [12] Lotus airs the team's games on its Fox Sports Radio affiliate, KKGK 1340/98.9. [12] KKGK fronts a network of nine stations across Nevada, California, Arizona, and Utah. [13] Dan D'Uva and Gary Lawless were announced as the Golden Knights' first radio play-by-play announcer and color commentator respectively.

It was also announced that KLAV's FM translator K255CT would switch to a simulcast of KKGK (then KRLV) on 98.9 FM. [14]

One game a week is also aired on the company's ESPN Deportes Radio affiliate, KENO 1460, making the team one of only three in the NHL to offer Spanish-language broadcasts. [15] And Jesus Lopez and Herbert Castro provide play-by-play and color commentary respectively on KENO.

Owned by Lotus Communications, KRLV airs a sports radio format focused on the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League. The station's studios and offices are located in the unincorporated community of Spring Valley in Clark County. A secondary studio is located at the Raiders headquarters and practice facility in Henderson. The transmitter is located off Wild Jan Drive, northwest of downtown Las Vegas.

Shane Hnidy is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. Between 2000 and 2011, he played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Ottawa Senators, Nashville Predators, Atlanta Thrashers, Anaheim Ducks, Boston Bruins, and Minnesota Wild. He is currently part of the Vegas Golden Knights broadcast team on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain.

KMCC, branded on-air as "Vegas 34", is an independent television station licensed to Laughlin, Nevada, United States, serving the Las Vegas area. It is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside ABC affiliate KTNV-TV. The two stations share studios on South Valley View Boulevard in the nearby unincorporated community of Paradise. KMCC uses a distributed transmission system, with the main transmitter located near Dolan Springs, Arizona, and a secondary transmitter at the KTNV studios.

<i>NHL on ESPN</i> American live sports television series

The broadcasts of National Hockey League (NHL) games produced by ESPN have been shown on its various platforms in the United States, including ESPN itself, ABC, ESPN+, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, and Hulu. Since 2021, games have been broadcast under the ESPN Hockey Night branding, while those on ESPN+ have used the ESPN+ Hockey Night branding.

From 2006 to 2008, NBC's studio show was originally broadcast out of the rink at New York's Rockefeller Center, at the foot of NBC's offices during January and February. This allowed the on-air talent, including commentators for NHL on NBC, and their guests to demonstrate plays and hockey skills. From April onwards, and during inclement weather, the studio show moved to Studio 8G inside the GE Building, where NBC produces its Football Night in America program. For the Stanley Cup Finals, the show was usually broadcast on location.

Darren Joseph Eliot is a Canadian sports broadcaster and a former professional ice hockey goaltender. He played 88 games in the National Hockey League for the Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings, and Buffalo Sabres between 1984 and 1989. Internationally he played for the Canadian national team at the 1984 Winter Olympics. He currently serves as Vice President of Hockey Programming and Facility Operations for the Vegas Golden Knights.

Bally Sports SoCal is an American regional sports network owned by Diamond Sports Group, a joint venture between Sinclair Broadcast Group and Entertainment Studios, and operated as part of Bally Sports, along with its sister network Bally Sports West. The transmitter is located off North Martin Luther King Boulevard in North Las Vegas. KKGK airs a sports radio format, mostly carrying the Fox Sports Radio Network. The syndicated "Dan Patrick Show" is heard on weekday mornings.

Dave Goucher is an American sportscaster who currently serves as the television play-by-play voice announcer for the Vegas Golden Knights on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain.

The Las Vegas Raiders Radio Network is an American radio network composed of 52 radio stations which carry English-language coverage of the Las Vegas Raiders, a professional football team in the National Football League (NFL). Las Vegas market stations KRLV (920 AM) and KOMP (92.3 FM) serve as the network's two flagships. The network also includes 50 affiliates in the U.S. states of Nevada, California, Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas and Utah: 34 AM stations, sixteen of which supplement their signals with a low-power FM translator and one repeated over an HD Radio FM digital subchannel; and 16 full-power FM stations, four of which supplement their signals with a low-power FM translator. Jason Horowitz is the current play-by-play announcer, while Lincoln Kennedy serves as color commentator; George Atkinson and Jim Plunkett offer pre- and post-game commentary. Compass Media Networks is responsible for producing and distributing the network to these aforementioned terrestrial radio stations.

SportsNet Rocky Mountain is an American regional sports network owned by Warner Bros. Discovery through its sports unit as part of the AT&T SportsNet brand of networks. Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, the network broadcasts regional coverage of sports events throughout the Rocky Mountain region, mainly focusing on professional sports teams based in the Denver metropolitan area, Utah and Nevada.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Vegas Golden Knights</span> National Hockey League team in Paradise, Nevada

The Vegas Golden Knights are a professional ice hockey team based in the Las Vegas metropolitan area. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Pacific Division in the Western Conference. Founded in 2017 as an expansion team, the Golden Knights are the first major sports franchise to represent Las Vegas. The team is owned by Black Knight Sports and Entertainment, a consortium led by Bill Foley and the Maloof family. Their home games are played at T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada.

Nevada Sports Network (NSN) is an events and sports-broadcasting group based out of Las Vegas, Nevada. It was founded in 1996 by Alex Shelton and is known for its production of many NCAA bowl game, NCAA Football and Basketball Games of the Week, Nevada Sports Broadcasting of NIAA Football and Basketball Championships as well as branded radio and television shows with Mountain West Conference and live Sporting Events producing radio and television broadcasts.
