The following is a List of Cotabato provincial symbols. Most symbols were designated by the virtue of Provincial Ordinance No. 540 which took effect on September 1, 1914. [1]

The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cotabato is a metropolitan archdiocese of the Latin Church of the Catholic Church on the island of Mindanao, the Philippines. The Archdiocese includes North Cotabato and the municipality of Banisilan, Cotabato.

Central Mindanao Airport, formerly North Cotabato Rural Airport and also known as the M'lang Airport, is an airport serving the general area of M'lang, located in the province of Cotabato in the Philippines. It is the only inland airport of Mindanao with capability for commercial flights. It occupies 62 hectares of lands with a 1.2 kilometres (3,900 ft)-long concrete runway and a terminal building. The airport is primarily intended to support the transport of agricultural produce from the central part of Mindanao.

Jose Tejada

Jose "Pingping" Inserto Tejada is a Filipino politician, who represents the 3rd Congressional District of the Cotabato in the Philippine House of Representatives. The District is composed of the towns of Tulunan, Mlang, Matalam, Kabacan, Carmen and Banisilan. Prior to his election as representative, he served as board member of the Province of Cotabato from 1992 to 2001 and from 2004 to 2013. He briefly served as Vice Governor of Cotabato in 1998, by virtue of succession.

The 2017 Kidapawan jail siege occurred when about a hundred unidentified armed men attacked the North Cotabato Provincial Jail in Kidapawan, Philippines at around midnight freeing at least 158 inmates. The COVID-19 pandemic in Soccsksargen is part of the worldwide pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. The virus reached Soccsksargen on March 17, 2020, when the first case of the disease was confirmed in Cotabato City. The patient was officially recorded as the first case of the region. Cases has been confirmed in all component local government units of the region.
