This list of Doraemon films features both feature-length and short films based on the manga and anime series Doraemon . Since 1980, all of these films to date have been released by Toho. Toho currently holds worldwide distribution and licensing rights for all of the films in the series. As of 2024, there are 43 feature films and 2 special feature films.
At the Japanese box office, Doraemon had grossed more than ¥100 billion revenue and sold more than 100 million tickets by 2015, having surpassed Godzilla as the highest-grossing film franchise in Japan. [1] As of 2020 [update] , the Doraemon films have grossed a total of ¥187 billion ($1.7 billion) worldwide. [2] Doraemon is on the list of highest-grossing film in Japan, one of the all time highest-grossing non-English film franchises, and one of the highest-grossing animated film franchises worldwide.
Most of the original series films were directed by Tsutomu Shibayama. Shunsuke Kikuchi was the music and composer of the movies from the year 1980 to 2000, except the 1998 and 1999 movies, whose music was composed by Senri Oe. Kikuchi was followed by Katsumi Horii for the movies of the years 2000-2004. The music for the films from 2006–17 are composed by Kan Sawada. Takayuki Hattori followed from 2018–present.

Doraemon (ドラえもん) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Fujiko F. Fujio. First serialized in 1969, the manga's chapters were collected in 45 tankōbon volumes published by Shogakukan from 1974 to 1996. Stand by Me Doraemon is a 2014 Japanese animated science fiction comedy-drama film based on the Doraemon manga series and directed by Ryūichi Yagi and Takashi Yamazaki. It was released on 8 August 2014. It is the highest-grossing film of the Doraemon franchise. Bang Zoom! Entertainment premiered an English-dubbed version of the film at the Tokyo International Film Festival on 24 October 2014. The English version features the cast of the Disney XD show Doraemon: Gadget Cat From the Future. A different English version with local actors was distributed by Multivision Pictures Entertainment and VIVA International Pictures for a Filipino audience in 2015, however is currently lost. It is therefore the first of 2 Doraemon films to be dubbed in English.

Doraemon's Long Tales, also known as Doraemon's Long Stories, is a manga series based on Fujiko F. Fujio’s Doraemon. As the name suggests, Doraemon’s Long Tales features whole volumes of longer and continuous narratives about Doraemon, Nobita and friends on their adventures into various lands of science fiction and fantasy, unlike the regular Doraemon series which is merely compilations ("volumes") of various self-contained shorts.
