The Coleman Medal is an Australian rules football award given annually to the Australian Football League (AFL) player who kicks the most goals in the home-and-away season. It is named after Essendon full-forward John Coleman, one of the most prolific goalkickers in the league's history, who was league leading goalkicker for five consecutive seasons.
Chris Tarrant is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He announced at the end of the 2010 AFL season that he would return to Melbourne for personal reasons and would not extend his contract with Fremantle for the 2011 season. He returned to the Collingwood Football Club via a trade. He made his name as a key forward, but upon his move to Fremantle in 2007, Tarrant found a new position in the backline. Tarrant was noted for his spectacular high marking, athleticism and pace on a lead.
Matthew Lee Pavlich is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Paul Medhurst is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the Fremantle Football Club.
Peter Lori Sumich is a former Australian rules footballer who represented West Coast in the Australian Football League (AFL) and South Fremantle in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) during the 1980s and 1990s.
Bernard George Andrew Naylor was an Australian rules footballer who was one of the most successful full-forwards in the history of the West Australian Football League. The WAFL now awards the leading goalscorer each year the Bernie Naylor Medal.
Hayden Ballantyne is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League. He was a 2014 All Australian and has previously won a Sandover Medal while playing with Peel Thunder.
Rodney Donald "Rod" Tregenza is a former Australian rules footballer. Originally playing for the South Mandurah Football Club in the Peel Football League (PFL), Tregenza was a member of Peel Thunder's squad for their first season in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), and later also played for East Fremantle, winning the Bernie Naylor Medal as the leading goalkicker in the competition in 1999 and 2000. He was recruited by the Kangaroos in the Australian Football League (AFL) in the 2001 Rookie draft, but did not play a game for the club, subsequently signing with the South Adelaide Football Club in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL). Tregenza returned to Western Australian in 2005, playing one final season with East Fremantle. He remains a prolific goalkicker with South Mandurah, having kicked over 1000 goals in his time at the club.
Matthew Taberner is a former Australian rules footballer who last played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He mainly played as a key position forward. Drafted in 2013, Taberner was twice Fremantle's leading goalkicker and played 125 games before being delisted in 2024.
